Nobody outside of the club has an insight as to what goes on in the dressing room, however I?ve been in plenty of dressing rooms ( Football and Cricket) where senior players sometimes get above themselves, whether this is the case with Bartley and co we?ll never know until someone brings out an autobiography sometime in the future, one thing is for sure though the team have shown season after season they are a spineless pack of bottlers who over the next couple of seasons need replacing

Couldn?t agree more. The performances and lack of even effort and desire in Mowbray?s last six games tells the story crystal clear. That Derby defeat was shocking and that duck from Furlong you wouldn?t even see in a Sunday pub match,

Remember I defended Bartley at one stage but now want him gone along with most supporters.

Ryan Mason is saying all the right things. When did someone new not say what we all want to hear. That said I will be supportive at the beginning.

Let us face it, we had a doubter in CC?s ability at the start of the last season.

As for the squad, Ryan Mason will do what he see’s as needing doing. We can all make assumptions but we are not coaches and we do not see what goes on in training. I think we can be assured that no player would be able to bully themself a place in the team.

The fact is we were not good enough last season for two reasons.

    1) We did not have an out and out goalscorer. (We did but injuries put paid to that).

    2) Collectively we did not have players who could knock in enough goals to impact the deficit of not having an out and out goalscorer.

It was not just the striker though as some say Armstrong did not impress but his service was dire. Our midfield is too slow ( Mowatt and JM ) and lacks creativity. The midfield is or should be the engine. The defending when Palmer went was dire - this was a combination of missing a first class keeper and perhaps Palmer helping to bail out poor players like Bartley, Holgate and Furlong with his confidence.

I have no doubt Armstrong will impress again this coming season because he will get the service and have better players around him.

For me our biggest problem is the engine which is the midfield where there?s no pace or creativity. Remember the midfield should protect the defence and feed the forwards. Mulumbu - Yacob - Pereira - Krov so say no more!

CC did a great job but believe he couldn?t do any more with average players so the style of play whilst boring perhaps now understandable. I expected more of Mowbray but again whilst there were strange decisions it came back to the players.

I am happy with Mason being young and ambitious but again - it comes back to the players and an overhaul required. Nobody can convince me Bartley - Furlong - Griffiths - Wallace - Mowatt and JM are what?s needed to be a top side in the division. Mid table perhaps!

Well, at least we have a new manager in place so now let's see who we can recruit in terms of players. Don't know too much about Ryan, but he clearly fitted the profile the club's Game Model was looking for and nice to see a younger manager being recruited who will hopefully bring that little bit extra in terms of ambition and desire.

Of course, he says all the right things in the interview and the proof of the wisdom of his appointment is yet to be seen but not unhappy that we have him at the helm. The few comments I have seen from Spurs fans have all been promising. Seems like he was reasonably influential in getting Spurs to adopt more of a heavier press in their style of play which inevitably means the midfield has to work harder which might also indicate where our recruitment priority might be. No argument there from me and should please quite a few on here (inc Al &#128513 if we can upgrade from Mowatt and JM.

I know the lack of goals was a big issue for us last season but those last games showed that there are goals in this team. With better service and with Maja and Dike back, I would personally prioritise a pacier and more creative midfielder and a decent central defender above another striker.

Wouldn't really blame Fellows if he got his chance to play in the Premier League but still hope we can hang on to him for another season as his assist stats alone prove his value and they'll be needed for any serious push for the play offs. (Bit surprised he missed out on the England U21 squad for Euros btw, though I understand he is travelling with them?)
