I'd say this is why an appointment is taking so long. Not too many Coaches like to be told what to do. Some will buy in to it, others will say fcuk that after the interview
I don't know if we've already found the new man but it's not been announced but that was my initial impression

It's perhaps too brutal to say we want a yes man but I suspect we're wanting a candidate who's prepared to work in a collegiate way with the board and the rest of the senior management team
With the recruitment dept. bringing in players that can be improved and hopefully sold on at a profit, regardless of whether they play in positions where we are short
It's unlikely that any high profile candidates will work under those terms, when after all, it's the manager who gets the sack if he doesn't get success (even if his title is 'head coach')
