If we sign JP I would expect it.
What I see from Eddie is that he wants to be able to chance shape in the match and shift formation.

He needs to have different profiles of players to beat different teams.

We've struggled when teams park the bus. Joao has one of the history Penalty award stats in the Prem. He gets kicked a lot and fouled in the box. He's tricky and skillful.

Elanga is not that man. He's got blistering pace, doesn't dribble with the ball or get involve so much in the play. He presses high and relentlessly energy. He's lightening on the counter attack. However, he's not gonna give it 5 step overs and rabona it to the back peg.

We need those different profile. Everyone was talking about us having an anchor man in midfield. Eddie said he doesn't want a rigid midfield 3 but a dynamic midfield with the flexibility to adapt and overwhelm.

The times we've struggled to get Isak on the ball as the front three haven't had the movement we've needed.
In those games we failed to find the net and looked very one dimensional. Having a tool box of players for Eddie to deploy when we need to break down who are just sitting deep.

Adding these two lads make that front 3 (6 to choose from) equally dynamic
