    He came from a Prem club and he was a youth international for England, having played for the England U18s. In the 2023-24 season, Abbott captained Tottenham Hotspur U21 to the Premier League 2 title.

    It's all there in his Wiki entry, we had every reason to believe he would be good.

    I'd imagine that anyone applying for the Head Coach job would already know the set-up at Notts regarding recruitment. If they don't like it they presumably wouldn't apply for the job.

    Or for him to get "injured", which NCFC are good at.
