In a word no, we need players who are actually going to play, not attending the medical room for regular visits

He came from a Prem club and he was a youth international for England, having played for the England U18s. In the 2023-24 season, Abbott captained Tottenham Hotspur U21 to the Premier League 2 title.

It's all there in his Wiki entry, we had every reason to believe he would be good.

Of course not, but hes missed more games than he's played tho, hopefully he can get fit and force his way into the team and stay there long enough to make a difference.

So that?s two youngsters in, who will be hungry to show their talents ( hopefully ) we now need at least 5 quality experienced players in to bolster a weak squad. Especially midfielders and attackers!!

Believe he would have a good season. I do not remember too many absolutely nailing on he would be a success - of which it is pointless to do with any singing.

People just love to moan and pick fault. Lets see how he goes and judge him from there. Excited to see the moronic comparisons to Abbott when he starts to play too.

I said nothing about Tom Iorpenda, I was just correcting your statement about Abbott. To suggest you can't learn anything from a player's historic record is patently wrong. That's exactly what Football Radar do before they make a signing.

Im not sure I suggested you cannot learn anything from a players historic record. My wider point is why can we not just wait until he has played and judge him on that. Rather than having an air of negativity around a lad who has only just signed. I just find that odd.

Added to the fact the season is 8 weeks or so away, Iorpenda may just be one of two, three midfield additions and one of the others may be the enforcer style many want.

I haven't judged anyone. I'm getting tired of being told we can't comment on anything, that's all. Clearly someone's playing record before joining us is relevant.
