Also, the season doesn?t start for another two months or so, plenty of time to do more business.

Or for him to get "injured", which NCFC are good at.

A 4 year deal at his parent club says they like him. It seems a positive move and Notts will be very aware of the huge hole left by Abbott. If he has 85% of the affect Abbott had it will be a good signing. It would be improbable for us to sign a young loanee who can carry half the lightweights 2 years running

Now obviously yer actual signings could be about to be declared but I think a loan player so early in the piece could easily throw a few wobblers amongst the supporters.
Having said that it is too early to be critical of a L1 player that appears well regarded.
I genuinely can?t think who else we?ve taken on a season-long loan outside of Abbott?
It?s not fair to measure loans as one entity as emergency loans to cover injuries are a completely different set of circumstances.

For every ?George Abbot? there must have been half a dozen loan signings that I?ve forgotten the name of, that?s how much impact they?ve had.

Hard to drum up any enthusiasm for this signing until I?ve seen him play.

I can’t remember the last time we got a season-long loan signing in so early - they’re often much later (George Abbott only arrived at the end of August last year, for example). Suggests we rate him, but that Huddersfield don’t think he’s ready for L1 football yet.

Let’s hope we have a genuinely stronger squad - in both senses - this season and no one is playing every single minute out of necessity.

At 6ft 3in? this lad gives us some height in an area of the pitch where we have struggled for as long as I can remember? probably Bish n Rav.
He?s also been blasting the gym which hopefully helps with a/ his back issue and b/ hopefully not being light weight

Not a good sign that he is 6ft 3in but hback injury in young players can be very tricky to heal and because

Let's just see how he is first of all, there'll be others coming in as well.

Got the last message wrong due to being interrupted sorry will start again. At 6ft 3in a good start but back injuries in young players can be tricky to heal and any reoccurring back injury when he starts playing for us will mean a long time out with no time limit to how long he will be out for. Hope I am wrong but I think this is a very risky signing. Not the type of signing I want someone who has a proven record in at least league 1.

He?s an unknown, he was back playing last season so hopefully the back doesn?t reoccur.
It?s probably not that much of a risky signing really. I doubt we?re paying much salary wise and with him being 20 I think he doesn?t have to be counted as part of our squad max allocation.
