"Pet Sounds" proved that the Beach Boys were more than just Surf Music and good harmonies but Wilson's musical genius was tainted by paranoia and mental health issues that sadly took a huge toll. A key figure in the development of popular recorded music in the 60s, the "Love & Mercy" biopic with Paul Dano and John Cusack is worth a watch if anyone is interested.
