No, they prefer not to argue with refs as it's pointless. They aren't against pointing out refereeing failures mind after they asked why we were the least likely team to foul but the most yellow carded under Williams. They wouldn't sell or get rid just because he got sent off, he was emotional and actually showed he was up for the fight

Any other game last season I'd agree but this was when behind 1-0 in a play off semi final with a 2nd leg to go without McGoldrick. It was stupid to react as he did and made it impossible to win that 2nd leg!

Not saying it was right, but he'd been fouled all game and the ref gave him zero protection, it can make people lash out

People understandably lash out under provocation, professionals shouldn't. They get paid to stay on the pitch and do their job

This is right. Should have taken the 700k. Now with a 5 or 6 game ban on his record, he will always be on the receiving end of some unpleasant attention.

I really like the guy. Some of his goals (admittedly first half of the season) showed how strong and fast he is. I want him to stay but ?1m is ?1m and we are a selling club

Or funds for the training centre

Firstly no ones buying him for 1m, secondly ?we are a selling club? ? Are we? I?d say no more than anyone else and if we were he?d have gone in Jan.

As for his behaviour he seems to be a model pro who?s enthusiastic about the place so not in a million years are they getting rid on the basis of one red, if I was being harsh I?d say we need to see a lot more aggression (channelled the right way) from him.

But professionals do always have always will.

What surprised me was it was out of character from what we have seen over his Notts career.

The Brothers recent history would suggest otherwise. They have bought several players with their hard earned cash and reinvested cash from players bought and sold for profits, so far. The list would include, Keeper, centre back, several forwards, wingers .midfielder. Why is their any reason to doubt them now?
