Christ almighty Elk, can't see us going back there then. Used to love it in Calis, in the Oyken sat at the bar for the last uns. My G&T was always waiting for me. I still talk to Rose on FB sometimes.

We have been to Icmeler for a month this time, after going there last September for 2 weeks.
We did a month in the Oykun May/ June 2024.
But prices in Calis have risen same as elsewhere in Turkey.
Icmeler better beaches, nightlife than Calis, so my better half has said no return to the Oykun Hotel in Calis Beach.
Prices are rising steeply in Turkey, our hotel wanted 30 pounds a week for safety deposit box, so wanted 120 pounds for the month.
So I said 20 pounds a week, which they agreed to, still OK for hotel, with 3 couples paying 240pounds for the month.

Just exited a pub after paying 17 quid for two drinks in Whitby. Just popped into Wetherspoons here and paid ?3.79 for a Bells and ginger ale and a AU Vodka and pineapple.

A double Jameson?s with ginger ale is about ?6 and a much better drink.

Yesterday in 2 different Wetherspoons, was not happy with the Abbott beer in both,
so went on Doombar, a better drink, cheaper at 1 pound 49p a pint, 20p less than
the Abbott.

Definitely. If I'm having a bottle of ginger ale, any old shyte can go in with it. If it happens to be a Bells for ?1.29/?1.79. I ain't complaining.
