If we can get a decent striker then we wouldn't need Brownhill to score goals and as has been said, he wouldn't be as effective in the EPL. What he's doing now could be unsettling for the team, especially as he is captain. If he won't sign let him go.

I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I still think we should have gone the extra mile to sign Gustavo Hamer.

Me too Sinky.Great creativity and vision but also chips in with some goals-just what we need. His size and fitness are the only question marks.

I read last week Everton and WHU want either him or Brownhill.

I rate him very highly even though he is a fat little b@stard.

Brownhill is a good championship player but has proven in the past he isn't has effective in the Premier league. He will be lucky if he weighs in with 5 goals next season and will be shut off completely by the stronger sides.

We should be concentrating our resources on a player who is taller, physically stronger and more dynamic, than handing the rumoured 80k a week to Josh

We do need CM’s who are not easily bullied in the PL. Cullen works his socks off but he is lightweight. Josh Laurent is a big guy. Another one like him, solid in the tackle, would get my vote. With Hannibal’s bit of flair, that could make up a decent midfield.

Brownhill has worked hard for the club and I certainly wish him well. If he wants away to make his fortune, good luck, but there should be no one in the squad who wants away.

He's kept us hanging on S.C. and I don't care for that. Much prefer the Mee/Tarkowski paradigm that said, "We are off!" No messing, no dangling the club on a string. Adios amigo!

His agent will be holding on for whatever he can make out of any deal. His agent will have convinced Josh that he should get as much as possible from any deal because he will either be playing PL football for a team whose majority of fans say he is not up to it or he will move on to new pastures with a good deal and play for a manager who wants him and fans who will give him the chance.
Mee and Tarkowski were totally different cases ------they left when we had been relegated and got themselves very good deals.
I don't blame Josh at all, he did a lot to get us promoted but is still not valued.
