But more fun to see Dastardly and Muttley having to admit to being wrong.

Puts them on 271 seats, labour 178, lib dems 81 and tories 46

While I still think the current levels of support for Reform won't be maintained, it would be interesting if it did happen.

Firstly, it would not be a majority and I really don't see any if the other parties forming a coalition. Maybe the tories if they had enough seats but not on these numbers.

Is it feasible labour, lib dems and tories form a coalition to keep Reform out of no 10?

Secondly, Farage as PM, should it happen we know he's not capable of being a serious politician who could do the job of PM. Would he step down as leader immediately or try and have a go at it? I know comments have been made about Starmers longevity as PM, but I would put money on Farage not lasting 6 months.

I still think it's a moot point and labour will rally enough to secure a vastly reduced majority or at least the ability to form a coalition with the lib dems.
You see Sith, what I see in your post, is something similar to what the Germans do.
The politicians will bend the rules and go against an election result, to keep their status quo together, despite the population saying enough.
You show a pol, that says the public voters are rejecting the same old , same old spew from Tories and Labour and their collective failures to rectify issues upsetting them

So instead of addressing the problems and looking at where they failed. The solution is to manipulate the situation to stop something they(politicians) and voters(losing side) , don't want?

What the hell is the point of first past the post then?

On a side note, will the pilot be acknowledging now, that Reform isn't the dismissive joke he made it out to be?
He scoffed, mocked, and growled at those saying any other.

Unfortunately, this situation echoes the point Andy was making to RA, about him using racist, bigot, and all manner of words to describe folks having a different opinion to his. Reform it seems, that despite all those labels the left and RA use are a genuine outlet for many in this country.

Someone in the main parties surely must look at this and think, what are we doing wrong? But they don't it appears, want to change.

So, how many U-turns is it now?
Before RA jumps in and says, its good that a PM can change his mind. Its not.

Time and again hes decided to do something, make himself look a fool and do a 180
That smacks of poor decision making and not having a clue what hes doing. A one off, I can accept. Maybe two.

Hes been hiding for 2 weeks, whilst major event, after major event has gone on. He's back and been slapped round the mush with a wet fish already.

    tick tick tick

Lol, her words slapped Labour into a corner. She stepped down before being sacked. That much was obvious. Corbyn said outright that the Labour party wouldn't blame any particular group. If you believe that bollox, that she quit out of honour, then you're more gullible, than I thought you was. It was a career saving move. I take it, you've never asked someone to resign, before you sack them then?

    'Truth is impossible'
She wrote: "Britain has a problem with British-Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls.

"There. I said it. Does that make me a racist? Or am I just prepared to call out this horrifying problem for what it is?"

In the newspaper, the column was accompanied by another article by former Sun political editor Trevor Kavanagh, which referred to "the Muslim Problem".

Mr Kavanagh's article was condemned in an open letter signed by more than 100 MPs, including Ms Champion herself, who said she was horrified that an "extreme Islamaphobic" column had quoted her.

A spokeswoman for the Sun said: "Sarah Champion's column, as it appeared on Friday, was approved by her team and her adviser twice contacted us thereafter to say she was 'thrilled' with the piece and it 'looked great'.

"Indeed, her only objection after the article appeared was her belief that her picture byline looked unflattering. Her office submitted five new pictures for further use."

Communities Secretary Sajid Javid suggested that Ms Champion had been sacked and criticised the Labour leader, tweeting: "Corbyn wrong to sack Sarah Champion. We need an honest open debate on child ***ual exploitation, including racial motivation."

Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage said in a tweet: "Telling the truth about tough issues is now impossible in the modern Labour Party. Pathetic."

Well his prediction was wouldn't last a year so starmer has to be gone by the end of next week.

yes I did. I also said, it would be his own party that ousted him, as he has a lot of Corbyn's die hards still in that group. He is as far removed from them politically as Netanyahu is from the Ayatollah
The timing may not be exact, but let's not deny they are raising their heads now in ever greater numbers. Let's not forget that the pols don't lie. He is as popular in those pols, as Meghan Markle

He's an habitual liar, whose broken just about every pre-election promise he's made, and then some.
Did you pick up his latest one in the G7 / NATO summits?

Trying to look like he's a new defender of the west in front of Trump, he boasted that the UK was going to be buying 12 brand new F35A's. These can carry nuclear weapons he boasted.

This guy thinks the population is thick and gullible.
Anyone that takes an interest in the defence spending could tell you that, once we had filled the Navys quoter (currently 49 F35B jets, as some pillock dropped one off the back of HMS QE).
The RAF was going to get the F35A's as part of their upgrades. (nonvertical lift type, greater range/weapon storage/ combat abilities)

THIS WASN'T NEW AT ALL, BUT PART OF A PURCHASE PLAN.

Also, only 12? If this clown hadn't given away billions to Chagos/African climate change/ GB energy admin, he could have bought 15000 of the bloody things.

He's a souless puppet and billy no mates, as seen at those summits. Embarrassing and a dead man walking

…and yet you suggested (I think, not always easy to tell with you) in post #3515 that Sarah Champion’s resignation was ‘only last year’ and it wasn’t. It was almost 8(!) years ago, in August 2017. It had nothing to do with Starmer’s leadership and while I happen to believe that, like Jess Phillips, she is a very well intentioned MP who does much more good than harm, her choice of words in this specific example was incorrect.

P.S. I’ve never been in the unpleasant situation of having to sack anyone and I doubt very much that you have.

No I never suggested that at all. My point was about the Labour party and its lack of recognition where grooming gangs are concerned. They are mainly in their areas and have a lot to answer for. Corbyn was/is a Muslim sympathiser, who was never going to do anything to upset them HE PUSHED HER, GUARANTEED and gave her the option to fall on her sword. Your gullibility saw it differently , Starmer has always been terrified of upsetting the Muslim vote, as he needs it. Unfortunately for him, they are even going independent now, so he;s boxed himself in.
Here, others didn't view it like you.

as for that last part, perhaps, you'd like a 1k bet for charity?
Crass I know, but I could name everyone, I did a favour asking them to resign before I sacked them.
It helped them keep a clean CV and a better job chance.

Your work career has been public sector. Chances of you sacking anyone, was rather low.
Mine, meanwhile, was always in the fire line for doing so. Textiles- factory of different departments. Short term/long term contracts. (never really motivated or caring)
Modular building factory, high turnover of school leavers, long term unemployed, in conjunction with NCC ( attitudes/ only there because ordered to be there/ complete klutzes)
Brought in, told their services not required as a result. You can leave now, or you're gone. up to you.

Now want to put your self assured opinion of yours to the test? Or shall we just chalk this down, to another example of RA's fantasy real world experience's of everyone else, that must be the truth?
