Eventually a really big club will go under, it could be Wednesday, things are that bad!!!
Things do appear to be particularly bad and many of their fans are in despair but I still expect a white knight to come riding over the hill at the eleventh hour to save their bacon.

The problem for the next owner is that DC still owns the ground(our wife does). If the rumours are true that he's wanting ?100M+ then someone needs very big pockets if that doesn't include the Pigsty.

Some players & staff still not paid May's salaries, Salaries due to be paid Monday 30th for June's salaries.
Will some players opt to walk out from the club & sign for other clubs, where they will get paid on time.
To selling the club, what value can be put on the Hillsborough stadium, which needs a big revamp.

ELK, at the moment they have no training ground as work to re-vamp it has not been completed. Hiisbrough has had a visit from Sheff Council Safety Advisory Group, who have only acknowledged publicly that they are in dialogue with the club but there are many usually well informed sources that are saying that they will not be given a safety certificate for this season without large amounts of work being undertaken on the ground and on the north stand in particular.

On top of all that HMRC payments are due on 30th June, again same usually well informed sources are saying they need a cash injection of £5m just to trade through the next six weeks.

It's a mess, personally I can only see administration as being the way forward

Quick update Wednesday are also now showing on the efl website as being subject to an embargo for failing to pay HMRC as well as wages to players and staff. HMRC will not mess about they will petition for a winding up order very quickly if they are not paid, so Chancer will need to put the club into Admin quickly if he cannot raise funds quickly

If, as is being suggested, Chancer's businesses have run out of money it is difficult to see how he could afford, or want, to put the football club into administration because presumably that would land him with a huge personal loss.
At the moment he seems to be clinging to the hope that he will be able to sell the club for a price that will clear all his debts but the amount he is asking for is considerably more than market value and apparently Hillsborough is not included in the package.
It's a real mess but I still think they'll manage to crawl out of it.......because they're MASSIVE you know.
