That happens a lot, try replying using the Go Advanced button rather than Post Quick reply, one often gets logged out but your post is posted!

My point wasn't around post volume, it was around the impossibility of satisfying posters who don't want no moderation, don't want moderation based on a reasonable offering from the moderator, and don't want the reasonable set of rules used by another comparable forum, the relative higher popularity of which may be partly driven by its list of prohibited content. I'd suggest we should continue 'as is', especially as there appears to be some sort of 'Christmas 2014'-style outbreak of friendliness occurring at present.

I agree, (again!!), its a genuine attempt to foster a better atmosphere on here irrespective of the subject being discussed and maybe that will encourage more participation from others, though the issues with posting on here may counteract that somewhat.

My friendliness doesn't extend to one poster, but as he is on ignore and I don't respond to his posts that is not an issue. There is after all a limit to my tolerance and understanding.

Agreed. Many of those comments difficult to ignore, but usually worth the effort.

As for the forum problems. Been virtually impossible to use for the last 48 hours or so.

I thought it had died, looks like someone performed CPR to save it. Still can't access from phone (have done switch on and off magic cure and deleted cache etc). If it did die, I'd have to watch Point of View to get my weekly fill of y'alls tit for tat exchanges!
