    Mate lives in Poland.
    He's a DUTV subscriber.
Pays ?16.99 a month like me.

He caved in and bought today's Oldham stream from SolidSports, paid ?10 euro

He's just texted me to say it's a DUTV production, DUTV pictures and DUTV commentators!
In his words "THE C***S have got me to pay twice"
    He's raging.

    Faf result in Alloa

On paper one of the easier looking groups

Been great sitting back following these groups and making money off them

One of the well deserved rewards for a fantastic league season is not having to watch Utd in the group stage

Falkirk let me down for the treble today but hats off to the Alloa lads for at least keeping their end up.

Bert Esselink reminded me about an Uruguayan who played many years ago in a reserve match for United. Bert scored a great goal and his distribution was excellent. I'd go as far as saying his composure and reading of the game was similar to that of another great foreigner for us, Siggi Jonsson.
The Uruguayan Edison Machin? I was at that game he looked sublime! Never missed a tackle, a header or miss placed a pass?.gutted we never signed him.

Certainly was Machin. Unlucky not to grab a goal himself but was absolutely amazing. These were the days when you had reserve games played at the actual stadiums where fans could get along to the games. No age restrictions on the players allowed to play. Unlike this coming season where it is 19 years old with a number of over aged players.

Did the national team not qualify for the World Cups in 86 & 90? Not sure about the European Championships in 88 & 92? However young players, playing against senior pros in the reserves brought them on more than this age restricted pish. Trialists were allowed and that game was many years ago but you and I still remember it for that reason, seeing Machin play. Problem indeed with his passport unfortunately. Wouldn't mind getting a few player recommendations from him if they played the game like he did.
