You might be about to record an all time lowest home attendance on Saturday. Meanwhile on Thursday Tannadice is all but sold out for a European tie.

I would 100% add Docherty to our backroom staff. Had Dundee playing decent football last season and seemed to get them playing some decent, attacking football. He was poor defensively but I think he would compliment JG's organised approach. He would definitely improve us as a team. Thoughts?

I would be inclined to agree; he and McInness were a good pairing and Docherty has always been highly thought of. Not sure how it would work out with Sharpe as well, but if it were a goer, I?m sure they could make it work.

Would we have to crucify him every Friday and resurrect him on a Monday?

I can see where you're going with it but it would surely destabilise our off field team.
He will turn up at Motherwell/St Mirren/Killie when the next vacancy arises and the West coast media will resume their W***kathon over him.

He came out of TheAuldHunStand a very different man from the one who went in,when was the last time a manager of The Fun left to go onto better things?,is it as far back as Jim McLean in 1971 and mind he only left because they refused to make him their manager and the rest is history.

There is no doubt in my mind that managers are tainted for the rest of their career's if they have sat in the DFC hot seat.

A no from me too, the amount of games they lost from 2 up in the two seasons and late goals and as you say talked the biggest amount of shyte at times and came across a bit deluded (maybe why he fit in)
