I am sick to death of the same names every f**king time, and apparently we are interested in Guehi? as if he is going to sign for us when he is pretty sure he just has to wait out a season at Palace and then replace Konate and make bags -full more because a) Liverpools wages structure and b) he?ll be moving on a free.

The club, and I include Eddie, have a fascination with Prem experience above most else.

Not all Eddie?s fault, but this window he had to be the one calling the shots given the lack of anyone else, and if we go after players that teams can afford to give somewhere between nearly double and more than double we will, and are likely to go in for them, we are always going to miss out until our wage structure can compete.

I know there is time left, and I know we will bring in players, but I am thoroughly disillusioned in the transfer window.

Last summer was bad enough making complete morons of ourselves with banging at Palace?s door time and time again, this summer so far has taken it to another level and if we try to sign Guehi and fail AGAIN then we deserve to be mocked.

Mitchell said the transfer strategy wasn?t fit for purpose, I?m inclined to agree seeing it this summer? it?s hard to defend the clubs performance and approach this summer.

Season starts in 10 days and I am hoping for the best, but given the amateur performance in the transfer market so far I?m resigned to the worst.
The transfer plan has been essentially torpedoed by Isak.

Essentially the plans were thrown out the window and the club have had to pivot not just once but twice in the window.

The transfer summit before the end of the season should have been the start & Mitchell should have lined up the contracts and closed the deals. I get the feeling that he got zero positive feedback and rather than trying he quit.

Leaving Eddie, Andy & Nickson to carry the can, which he p!ssed off to watch the whole thing turn to ****.

It appears that due to the derailment of the transfer plan and the absence of a proper negotiator / closer has resulted in Eddie and Nickson going back in for targets they knew would and could do the job, hit the ground running.

Here we are.

It's a **** show. Fully embarrassing fiasco. The PiF are not going to like this, nor are they likely to repeat the same mistakes.

Hiring Eales looked like a great idea. Superb CV built a club from the ground up. Did nothing.
Mitchell. Amazing CV, found Son, Mane yada yada. Did nothing.

Silverstone. Great CV. Seured amazing contracts for Arsenal. Was last seen flogging socks and knock down priced shirts in Koreans... What a clown.

I don't know what his Excellency must be thinking but the fact is we need to bring in football people. Keegan needs an Ambassadorial role. Get him out to Germany where he is a god and get him promoting the club. Nobby in South America doing the same.

These are easy additions to the club.
