Prediction League RESULTS for 2025/26 season.

Firstly, I want to give a shout out to the new members who have joined us; Axeholme Miller, Pocket Rocket, a123 and Mr_Buckaroo. Welcome onboard and trust you will see the season out. You may well have bad weeks along the way but don't give up, we've all had those .

Surprisingly, there were no drawn games in League 1 but plenty in League 2 and the Scottish games. A total of 20 points were up for grabs so let's see how we all got on.

The Results:

No Shows: Some familiar names were missing yesterday who I fully expected to see. Not to worry if you missed the first set you can join in anytime throughout the season and, so can anyone else for that matter. We have started with 23 with hopefully a few more joining us as we go along. The main focus is for those who have joined, old and new, look to remain throughout the season to make it a competitive league.

Weekly winner(s): Some may think, 'Is it worth having a go, will I be any good?' Well Axeholme Miller, a newbie, showed us all how it's done along with CAMiller and our reigning Champion HK Miller as they all scored an impressive 11 points so they pick up the 5 bonus points. Well done and you're all off to a good start.

Predict a score: The final score was Doncaster 1 v 0 Exeter so there were no winners. This now makes it a rollover to next week where, someone could score either 10 or 6 points. A nice bonus to bag.

Joker(s) played: None played although Cayton did mention he was thinking about it but didn't in the end. Bet he wished he had done now.

Wooden Spoon(s): First results of the season always kick out low scores and a123, LolMorgan and Pipppy scored 2 points but they were saved by MillersTale with his 1 point, however, he too was saved as Ronners served up a duck unfortunately scoring a big fat zero. Hopefully that's his only one of the season and Cayton resumes where he left off last season .

It won't let me on CAM, when I click on wordle it tells me that no thread is specified, and if I followed a valid link to contact the administrator. Yesterday we welcomed back the Championship games. As always with a new season, us punters think what we believe to be sure fire winners and yes you've guessed it, they didn't materialise .

To be fair, there were only 16 points in total that were up for grabs and these reflected in some pretty average to low scores along the way. Actually, not one us hit normal double digits so, let's see what happened........

The Results:

No Shows: Axeholme Miller did warn us he may forget to post sometimes throughout the season and yesterday was one of them, and all that after such a great start. Come on fella get back in asap. Other familiar names were also missing yesterday namely, Adventus2012 and Harpo88. Maybe they'll join in again soon.

Weekly winner(s): Avondale Miller didn't post last week but rejoined us and claimed this weekly win with his 9 point score, way to go. He wasn't alone though as YAK also scored 9 points. Congrats to both who bag an extra 5 points each. .


Predict a score: The final score was Oxford 0 v 1 Portsmouth. This was a rollover and there was only one correct score!
The mega 10 bonus points therefore go overseas as CT Milller claimed them all on his own. Well done sir, but boy did he need them

Wooden Spoon(s): I did say it was a low scoring day and at one point CT Milller was winning the spoon on his own with 2 points. However, he pulled off the mega 10 points from the Predict a Score and played his 'get out of jail free' card. So who did it leave behind to collect a spoon?

I think I put the spec on our resident spoon collector Cayton last weekend so, he collects one with his 3 points. He isn't alone though because joining him are Grist, Harry Bow, Lol Morgan and MillersTale.

Although AxeHolme Miller failed to post he's still in the top end of the table. It just goes to show how a big score keeps you up there.

CAM, slightly edges ahead on his own as he peers down from the throne. Enjoy it for now
