BREAKING | FC Bayern today submitted a new offer for Nick #Woltemade, proposing ?60m plus bonus payments and a sell-on clause.

VfB Stuttgart rejected it, even though the player?s camp believed the package would be sufficient. Stuttgart demanded ?75m from Bayern today ? something Bayern will not do.

Looks like he's available for 64.5m quid. That's 5m less than we offered for Ekitike & 10+5m for Sesko .

I rate this kid higher than both of them.

This is the best deal in European football right now for a young striker with world class potential.

Ah, but this would just be the Sesko deal all over again if we went for him.

Bayern aren't going to go that high.

No Prem cartel teams need a striker.

It would be a great signing.

Just don't know if the club are going after another striker after Wissa.

As you know, I think this is an exciting prospect. We need 2 strikers no ifs or buts.

Making it clear, Wissa cannot be the replacement for both Wilson and Isak with additional games this on the menu this season.

Sign Woltemade, sell Isak (for the amount of money we are asking) and we're suddenly looking at a decent, albeit the signings have arrived too late.

    Not for me.

1 in 5 return rate in the Bundesliga and not that mobile? so if we are goi g to try and hit teams on the break he?s not keeping up with either Elanga or Gordon.

12 goals in 28 Bundesliga games last season (for a mediocre team). So a little less than a goal per game. I?d say he hasn?t set the league on fire, but those are decent stats and Bayern have been keen all summer window long 🙂

He wouldn't neccesarily need to keep up. He'd be the target to draw in the defenders and release Elanga and Gordon with flick-ons, like Bellerz and Shearer when Wor Al's legs went.

He's 23 yrs old and have a lot of potential to develop.

He's got good feet. Can beat a man, not with pace but with a bit of skill. He also provides assists.

The hype around Samu is interesting. He's got blistering pace but he's not good with the ball at his feet. So he won't be involved in link up and isn't a ball carrier. Should signing Samu happen the team style will have to change.

From what I read he has exceptional skills for his size and is ranked 104th quickest player in the Bundesliga with a top speed of 34kmph. For contxt Wirtz is 56th and Ekitike was 30th.
