Since we really don?t have a suitable centre forward available, and we are tending to play better more effective after subs - what would be a suitable line up?
And a way of playing?
We had better movement on Tuesday and goal attempts. He switched it about so much it was hard to spot his ideas, which could have been foreced. But to my way of thinking, this staid division needs a team to take it by surprise instead of the usual play by numbers.
Fluid football. Pass and move.
Aside Nombe goal threat what else have we got, if we play plan A?

4-5-1
If no forward in today play Martha up front with McGuckin. Assuming we're staying with 3-5-2.
Has to be 4-5-1.
We have no real striker, so the closest we get is Hugill as a lone target to hopefully at least bother defenders.
A fluid three in the middle, with two wide players.
Traditional back four, with full backs looking to work with the wide men going forward.
We don't have many options beyond this and let's be honest, players at this level that can switch systems seamlessly are few and far between.
Hughill has had his chance and is clearly incapable. Perhaps MH will need to be creative and repurpose someone in the Paul Warhurst role. Sadly, the only mobile CB we have is the young lad from Celtic and I dont think that would be fair.
Time to give Martha and Hall a start,we've 3 fit CB's...sort of,so stick with his favoured 3-5-2,Hugill and Gru's son up top.
But we are desperate for another striker seeing as or only goalscorer is crocked.
A point at Cardiff would be great.
