Cullen and Lurren - omg the slowest midfield combo in the premiership?
Sonne and Ekdal - lose marking, gave away far to much space, slow to react, poor positional sense

Where is Connor Roberts?

I was feeling more confidant after our signings, but not now as Parker seems Naive and has lost the plot.

Well said FTD.Agree with everything.I wrote an almost identical post. Where were the signings.It is as if we deliberately fielded a weak squad.Sunderland have beatan WHU and they are up next so they will be a difficult opponent as well.

Statistically we were always going to lose today.

We’ve seen some of the players today. SP is not like VK. I suggest he will think about what he has seen today and set up differently against Sunderland.

For me darkness we should always start with your best 11 and as you accurately point out some of the starters couldn’t get a game in his championship team and are at best squad players to back up for 15 mins .

I posted 5-10 mins in that the shape was wrong as I could see what was happening and it made us so open and vulnerable- my thing is Parker could aswell but left it till we’d gone a goal behind and 28 mins to get our lines closer together , above all of that though the players on the pitch know what’s happening and they did nothing either which tells me some of them aren’t up to the job.

It’s going to be a long season if we afford teams so much time space - maybe we paid CJ Egan Riley a disservice and he was much better than what we thought
