We're in this mess because we haven't recruited properly.

Knowingly going into the season absolutely threadbare and so lacking in quality at CB is criminal. Exactly how long have we had the knowledge that Odoffin and Humphreys wouldn't be here this season?

It's the same upfront. We start the season with only two fit senior strikers, one of which is Hugill! And then we go and sign Etete, a player who comes with questionable ability and a poor fitness record. If someone tells me we're relying on dross like McGuckin and Kayode then we'll be in L2 next season for sure.

Two weeks of the transfer window left. We desperately need reinforcements in key areas or we're going down.

[QUOTE=MAMiller;40740281] Today was men against boys. Boys who aren't invested and not prepared to do what it takes to be a L1 player.

The shame of it is that the average age of Cardiff's starting 11 was 22 years old. Six of their match day squad have come through their academy.

I was sat with my brother-in-law, who's a Cardiff season ticker holder. A quick 5 minute chat with him identified that with their young defence (19 years old average) and 'keeper with poor distribution, despite being instructed to play the ball out from the back, when they are pressed and put under a bit of pressure they make mistakes. I think we did this three times in total (?) - twice Cardiff made a mistake (giving the ball back and a throw in in the final third). Surely, a bit of pre-game planning would have identified this as an opportunity. Instead, we chose to put them under very little pressure when on the ball at the back.

Hamshaw seems rattled on the after match interview.

The illuminati on here will no doubt throw cold water on this but the same excuses as Evans got derided for last year are coming out all ready.

This is a **** show - amateur hour

Even poor chefs have to be able to buy or at least supplied with the ingredients in order to cook, be that at a Greasy Spoon or some Gourmet Bistro joint.

Our chefs have had a cheese slice and a packet of biscuits supplied to them and seem to be expected to make a dinner for 60 and it taste like fine dining....

Yes we beat a L2 team but only after penalties and scraped a win against 10 man Port Vale.

One shot on target in our last two league games. Does that worry you at all?

So Rob Scott is doing it on purpose?
    The management team are cronies.
Hamshaw needs to go after 2 wins 2 defeats.

Everyone I present the most fickle fan base in the country.

It may only be 4 games in but for anyone with any football knowledge they can see the failings and the looming relegation.

But hey, let?s focus on the fans being fickle

Being a Rotherham fan is so boring. Knowing that we are going to lose before we kick off is not how it used to be. We used to think we could have a fighting chance but these last few seasons we pretty much know that games like these will result in no points. For the Stevenage game there was hope of a win as but as soon as we play anyone half decent away pretty much ends with the same outcome.

Home games have no atmosphere apart from away fans. Young fans will stop coming to watch the Millers. My kids soon got bored albeit they aren’t that interested in football. I’m going the same way.
