- simple to say, its a worldly and write it off huh?

Ekdal was very disappointing and Foster is not a goal scorer/striker. Can you possibly imagine him "doing a Richarlison"? Sunderland pasted the Hammers and the Black Cats are up next.![]()

Its alright playing 5 at the back Ballcock but the gap between midfield was miles too big and we were punished for it they ran through like a knife through butter - imo wed have been better with the extra man in midfield and also ugo than Lauren.
Bigger stronger - more mobile
Criticise me if you like but our shape was shocking and they exploited it and as always we switched off ( Ekdal ) for a second ball watching.
Lets see if lessons learned as weve all on now to beat Sunderland I reckon.
Might be wrong but just how I see / saw the game first 25/30 mins and it cost us.
Johnson had a yard on Ekdal and he finished like he was on a kickabout on Towneley Park, which is where Ekdal will end up playing if he doesn't shape up.![]()
Agree with all your remarks Army. The first two goals were due to poor marking, SP will correct this I hope. Sonne not up it, no idea how to defend 1v1. Some decent patches against a mediocre team.
Haven't watched the game.
Having Ekdal in a Premier league line up is suicidal, he is miles off it has proved 2 seasons ago.
The wing back Sonne also not good enough and neither is Laurent at this level. Strange he played 5 at the back after going 4 all last season.
Like I said last week, the season has come 3 weeks early for us has our new signings aren't yet fit to play.
Looking back compared to the rest of the Premier league we have had a poor pre-season. We really need to be playing better opposition, not the likes of Udders, Shrews and Stoke.
Agreed ballcock - my worry is hence the post we were set up so open like it was inferior opposition and it was going to be a breeze, hopefully Parker sorts it out as tbh we looked a bit VK conceding space and allowing ball to be delivered into our box.
Tbf to Parker he did realise and tried to get us playing closer together which steadied the ship a bit but then 2nd half we just switched off again and were away with the fairies having a lovely time ( but not football ).
The players you named are obviously issues but the knock on effect is it makes Hannibal - Anthony redundant ( harder to influence the game when you?re covering weak areas ).
This caught me a bit off guard tbh I expected to us to be dogged strong and the exact opposite of rolling over and weak.
Pragmatic like a Dyche side with a few efforts on goal but absolutely together - we started with the wrong line up - people who couldn?t or would t do the job- worrying on day 1.
Hartman is a bit of a worry to me, he looks lightweight and under nourished. We have seemingly chucked Pires under the bus, Humphreys and Beyer are worryingly "injured", Sonne is miles off it, Trafford and EJ Riley gone, Tuanzebe obviously not fit, Roberts knacked, Worrall stealing a wage, Delcroix better suited to League 1, I'll bet Walker is thinking "Oh Pfhuck!"![]()
