I heard the name David Turnbull, at the start of summer, but don't even know where he plays now.

He was a decent player, from what I remember.

Trying to think of any other Scottish midfielders that we would be buying and struggling to think of any.

Turnbull is currently under contract at Cardiff City until June 2027.
He is still only 26 or 27 years old and I also heard a rumble about us being potentially interested in him.
Not sure if it would be a loan or a permanent deal, if it was to be permanent that would probably take a new club record transfer fee and I am sure he would need to take a significant wage cut.
Think he would be a fantastic signing for us.

The only Scottish midfielders I can think of who we would have to pay a significant fee for would be Christie, Turnbull and Gauld.

Not sure if any of them are realistic but I would imagine they are more possible targets than the likes of McGinn and McTominay.

Unless its a young promising player like Watson at Kilmarnock?

Stuart Armstrong is a free agent the last time I checked.

We were linked with him at the start of the summer but nothing ever came of it.
