This is public information which is on Ross' strava, showing where he's ran, when and how long it takes. It was posted on twitter last night and I was shocked. As a runner myself, I regularly cover upwards of 50km a week, but running every run at a hard effort like a 4:30 pace would be killing the majority of professional runners. There's an argument that 4:30 pace is an 'easy' pace, but would then mean they're on par for pro marathon runner pace, which I don't believe any of our staff are.
As mentioned, if this is the backroom staff, what are the players doing? They're also playing football on top of whatever cardio work they're doing + gym and mobility work.
Long story short, they're being ran to death and then asked to play football on top, with no proper recovery.
