Wissa at AFCON, but what about others:

Having seen mention of Wissa miss games for us, I wondered who would be missing for the teams we play during the period…

We will be massing Wissa, but hope Woltemade is up to speed for that time, but the teams we will play during the time are as below, and listed the number of players they could be missing (depending on final squad and how far those squads go in the tournament… but assume a minimum of 3 games)

    Chelsea - 0
Man Utd - 4 inc. Mbuemo
    Burnley - 4
    Palace - 4
    Leeds - 0
    FA Cup - unknown yet
    Wolves - 5

One other gem I spotted… the Mackems could be missing upto 9, yes NINE, players

Wissa scoring in both of his world cup qualifying games not bad for someone who hasn't played all season

According to reports today, as soon as he landed he was taken off to be assessed by our medical team and he's fine to play.

    Raring to go.

    Apparently not.

Knee injury and needs to see a specialist? so must be serious and no return date till they know what the issue is.

Best case it?s precautionary, but knowing our luck it?s a crucial injury.

But what a complete joke of an outfit.

Crap pre-season, no competitive games for months, played a full first game then they tried to get another out of him 4 days later? bunch of f**king clowns.

Yeah, but the whole preseason thing is kinda his own fault.

But these guys want to play for their country, they are proud to? not like the English players who cry off duty with a broken toenail.

Not knocking him wanting to play for his country, I’m knocking the idiots who played him a full game and then tried to get another out of him soon soon after when he could never have been match fit.

Regardless of why he wasn’t fit.

Look at Sweden, Isak played half a game? He’ll still be getting up to speed for weeks before playing for Liverpool still… that’s sensible management… taking into account a player’s readiness regardless of if the player says he can play or not, or at the very least limiting his time on the pitch.
