A good time to play them perhaps but we must take advantage and go for the throat in this one.

north London mob sound rather glum...... as Farke fear factor sets in.........
    https://thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/...12-30pm.51115/

the strictest ref in PL will be charge ...... Thomas Bramall has blown for 23.33 fouls and brandished 3.33 yellow cards on average per game...... worry also because Jarred Gillett will be on VAR duty for the game to assist him...... same chap was the pitch ref who gave Arsenal a penalty at Newcastle last week until VAR overturned his dodgy decision.

should be an interesting presser tomorrow to see who is fit and available for us........

Whoa, he's one of the most honest refs going around, yeah, of course, he's human and may make an honest mistake. Short memories as Leeds have a great record when he refs. Perhaps being an Aussie haters will be haters as we were not rated on the world stage.

quick round up of the main points from todays Farke presser on Spurs clash....

    Farkes take on our performances........
What I like about our start so far in terms of performances is we have not one point that was lucky........ but we have also I would say lost three points from being very, very unlucky.

so it could be easily even on 10 or 11 points if I am honest and then we would not just be talk of the town......but sometimes it is also a bit healthy for this emotional club to fly a bit under the radar.

it is good that we had such a positive start performance wise also result wise......but it is a long road and we have to make sure that we deliver with consistency further on.

we need to win many more points in order to achieve our target because with just eight points we won?t be allowed to stay in this league, so we have to keep going.

    Farke on his opposite number.......
i am impressed with Thomas Franks start to his tenure in the Spurs hotseat.....his teams are always well structured, well managed and coached..... and for that you have to be spot on in what you are doing..... they play and press with intensity and they always threaten with many runs in behind.

when they rotate they still have found a way in the last games to dig in and to grind out a result and this is also the mentality Thomas bring into his teams........always they are pretty effective and find pragmatic solutions to grind out results and for that we have to be aware if you are against his side on top of the game..... as they can comeback and deliver.

    Farke on Piroe........
Best finisher I ever worked with.....in these terms very world class.....but we have to accept we will not always be in this position....... as in other games we needed some other skills..... i am100 per cent sure during the season his skills and stengths will be needed........he is still a great character and his behaviour is top professional, top top class......and so it should be as well....... if he runs around right now moody or feels sorry for himself or angry then it will not help him...... so what should I do ?
.....just because he is feeling sorry for himself or angry and i think that right now he is angry and sorry for himself so I better play him.?
no...... it does not work in this way........ so make sure you train professional and you prepare professional and that you impress the manager in each and every training session and this is what he tries to do in each and every session.........i am pretty sure that we will also see him in many occasions on the pitch and then hopefully he can also deliver.

    Farke on Gnonto..........
just the calf strain .......so no surgery...... hoping to have him fit for this game but hes still feeling it a little bit........ so its progressing.....i am pretty sure he will be back in team training definitely in the next week and it should not be too much of a problem.

    Farke on team news........
James is out for a few weeks..... he rolled his ankle in training.....likely out for 4-6 weeks but we expect him back after Nov international break........if he was available before it would be a bonus..... so not great news.

Gnonto will miss this game with his calf problems...... not back in team training..... back after international break and question marks over Harry Gray with some problems with his hip flexor after his youth game on Monday.

Lucas Perri is back in team training since yesterday.......so good news but too early to involve him yet......so the international break is good for his two weeks of training and we expect him back out after that.

I like our chances Saturday. In fact, Mr cheap is actually putting a fiver on us to win.

I am worried about the Slovenian - Bijol (not sure on spelling). I think he could be a force in this game. Rodon and Strujik have been very, very good but wonder if that change up might take us to another level. It's a great problem to have.

I remember this ref from the championship days and remember being impressed with him. Of course, back then we were smaller and many teams cheap shotted us all game. When you have less talent and are bigger than the superior talent team (we usually were) dirty play really can be an equalizer. He tended to negate that some.

Really hoping DCL hits his chances this game. He's had some excellent balls fed to him and not quite finished it up. Also hoping that Aaronsen has a break out game. He's going to get some chances.

Glad we have the early game. we'll be ready to play.

going to be grim weather in Leeds for Saturday with a fair bit of rain and strong gusty breezes up to 50mph........
apparently attributed to storm Amy currently developing in the Atlantic and over my home currently....... warm here at 20c but slinging it down with rain and a battering wind........ conditions that may just suit our style of play and tempo better than Spurs....... and ideal to test their goalkeeper Vicario precarious decision making.

Alan Shearer has predicted a Leeds loss every time for the last 6 games. Now, he has predicted ..draw. Thats concerning as the guy is pretty poor pundit. Great player though.

    Shearer 🤐

after walking the dogs and now all dried off from the rain i actually trolled through the Spurs match reports.......... it was that or translating a long piece for wanting interested parties regarding the Milan clubs plan to now rebuild their iconic old San Siro stadium....their home for many long years.....which is set to be demolished after the city council approved its sale to AC Milan and Inter Milan on tuesday after a heated debate lasting 12 hours okayed the decision by 24 votes to 20.......

the two clubs agreed the plan to tear down the 99 year old stadium and jointly build a new 71,500 seated arena as part of a 1.2 billion euro project......... so an emotional topic for Milan club fans dotted around.

back to our match......all of the press reports pinpoint Thomas Franks Spurs away tactical weaknesses have been often highlighted by their focus on his man marking defensive system not clicking in....... which has been subject to frequently being undone.....as in the main he uses a wide attacking set up...... which exposes areas of space in midfield and at the back for teams to often exploit......

when we get possession catching Spurs high then they are liable to fold...... every Spurs away match report records that all teams playing at home have been able to exploit their prefered advanced position set up..... with long direct balls into the danger areas often leaving their defence prone to flap and losing the ball frequently......

would think Frank will know that problem will suit our strengths........ so he will set out selection wise accordingly with a stout defensive possession based game plan designed to grab a point..... as their forward line is certainly been poor of late.....

interesting to see if he gives a start to Gray somewhere in his line up....... whatever we certainly do not want to give an early goal away to dampen the Elland Road crowd effect on matters.....
