    Tino out for two months

Eight weeks for the poor sod.

Trippier the obvious first choice, but Thiaw can also play right-back. We probably won't see the same runs up and down the line with him playing there. Good option as a backup though.

That would then make room for Sch?r again or a Botman / Burn combination with Hall taking left-back. Lascelles as a backup.

Murphy and Ashby, what are their preferred positions? Maybe it's time they are introduced slightly more often in games.

Aye, only sliver-light is that 8 weeks includes a 2 week international break.

Ashby I get feeling may not make it at Toon, think he'll be a good/great championship player but I don't see him dislodging our starters.

I'd prefer to keep Thiaw and Botman together in centre as much as possible, they've looked amazing together.

Gutted for Tino-and for us. A back 4 of Hall, Botman, Thiaw and Tino would be hard to better in the league.

Mind, Botman will be out again before Tino is back.

    What about Krafth?

He was on the bench on Wed, so still in Eddie?s plans and a canny player when called upon.

Forgot about Krafth! Decent backup, a good grafter.

    Good point.

    He's the new Perchino really.

Good grafter, steps in and never complains.
