Of course Farage putting his house (which he claimed he had bought) in his girlfriends name is tax dodging, but legally so.

    True that.

In other news Kemi justification for wanting to leave the ECHR is because America and Canada aren't in it

There?s no such thing as legal tax dodging Sith. There?s tax PLANNING, which is legal, which we all do, and NF may have done that, or theres tax DODGING, and if he?s done that he deserves what he gets

Not sure planning is the word. Probably avoidance, which is defined as legal way of not paying tax

Fine. Tax avoidance has a more neutral sound to it than dodging. I?m sure there are more than one of us here who use tax avoidance techniques, even as innocent as maximising our gifting to family members

?but we may never know. The original issue was unearthed through information in the public domain, but any sanction above the need to pay the underpaid tax remains, I think, between HMRC and Rayner, unless they decide the activity was criminal. So if she is assessed for a further financial penalty, I don?t think we?ll know.

    Unless?

Starmer tries to return her to government, at which point the question may well be asked, a good journo couldn?t resist it, Which may well tarnish her credibility

Not having a giggle about this, just pointing out a possible outcome

I?ll stand corrected on the way HMRC deals with such transgressions

I don't believe I've tax dodged/avoided. Maybe more the fool me but cheating or taking advantage of loopholes that really shouldn't be there just isn't who I am.

I also find multinationals cosying up to government and negotiating cushy tax relief to be abhorrent. It happens here in NL and I presume it happens in the UK too. IMO, it should stop.

It's no secret i despise Donald Trump, but if the ceasefire leads to lasting peace it will be an achievement.

    Let's really hope it does.
