It is becoming apparent that the current system is not working. We need at least to try and show some attacking play, it wasn't till Les came on that we showed any fight up front.

I cannot understand how Tressor is not getting on the bench at least, he is a skilfull player who can change games, but it would appear that Scott Parker does not rate him.

However, I think based on the teams we have aready played that relegation is NOT a foregone conclusion, our next game against Leeds will show how hopeful we should feel.

Your right, he was crap last season.
But we bought Broja the bench warmer for 20mil, and Flemming the bench warmer for 10mil the season before.. 30mil wasted
Calum Wilson and Calvin Lewis both where free.. both hugely experienced..
But to the board only like to buy sick notes and waste endless amounts on foreign failures.

I was fairly happy with the performance, Villa are a better than average PL team and we only have to get more points than three others, as VC says in Post 5, relegation is not a foregone conclusion. Florentino is a real find, someone who can run the midfield along with Cullen, but how we overcome the fact that we are paying two non-scoring donkeys to share the central striker duties I don't know. That's what will get us relegated if anything does.
