All songs that made a big impact on the pop charts , over the years.. last night, it was a pleasure to see him perform, singing all these songs, plus many more he recorded ,with the likes of Andrew Gold, and also, during his spell with 10cc. Great songs each and every one of them. The biggest applause ,was of course ,for huge 10cc hit ? I?m not in Love?.
A great evening all round, much appreciated by the audience in the small Borough Theatre. The final song of the evening, left everyone going home in a right feel good mood-Dreadlock Holiday.
    I don?t like Abergavenny, I love it !!!
You get some great gigs, mal. I would love to see some of these greats before it is too late, so to speak.

Music forms the backdrop to the lives of many people. To enjoy time with someone like Godley and appreciate his contribution is brilliant.

Sadly, Switzerland is rarely on the tour schedules of many so I do not get the opportunity, as you do.

Sad to read of the death of John Lodge, bass player and song writer of The Moody Blues. His “Candle of Life” has now burnt out.

    Another one gone.

I went to see the Blue Jays (Hayward & Lodge) at the Manchester Appollo back in 1975. A very memorable night. Loved the Moody Blues.

I saw them on that tour in Birmingham. Great show. I was lucky enough to see the Moodies in London, Los Angeles, Dallas and Florida. A great live band and always a great show.

Hayward is touring at the moment so I am hoping to get to his show.

I am a huge Moody Blues fan , ever since the start and have everything they’ve released.i’ve seen them live a few times and their performances were top class.
Next Sunday I will be watching Justin Hayward in concert, for the 3rd time, here in the capital of Wales. No doubt at all that John Lodge will get a big mention, at some time. Should be another great night, turning the clock back.

I hope that you have a great evening. I saw him a couple of year’s ago and it was brilliant - all the favourites, some good banter and a fervent audience. I am sure that John Lodge will feature.

Graham Nash ,Cardiff, the other night.

Any rock music fan who’s heard of Graham Nash, knows he was a valid member of the Hollies , and also of Crosby , Stills , Nash and Young fame. Those were the songs we came to hear, and that is what we got. Telling tales and stories in between ,including his links with Joni Mitchell and Rita Coolidge, the appreciative audience learnt a lot aswell, during his performance. It wasn’t just about the songs. They did however , include the likes of Marrakesh Express,(written on a train journey,)Teach Your Children , and a song written by Graham Gouldman ,for the Hollies, Bus Stop,Our House, and a rock version of Matthews Southern Comfort 70’s hit- Woodstock.
The evening started off in gentle fashion by Peter Asher of Peter and Gordon fame. Again, lots of stories when the duo were making it big, how Paul McCartney came to write the huge hit for them,World Without Love, whilst co - habiting, with Peters sister Jane, and how he got to link up with Carole King and James Taylor.
All in all , one of those nights where you weren’t sure how it would go, but on the way home, you were glad you went. Two extremely talented artists, who turned the clock back, with great success.
