Happy Gilmore 1 and 2. Good Fun, thoroughly enjoyed.

    F1 Cheesy but enjoyable

Heads of State, really enjoyable action comedy with John Cena and Idris Elba
Thanks Sith, I'm not a fan of 'franchise' movies meself but glad they gave you some respite. I'll check out Happy Gilmore and Heads Of State. I was a 'plus 1' on the F1 release day showings in London (with my daughter) and unforgivably I forgot to go... I've watched it since and yes its cheesy but OK

I know what you mean with franchise movies. I enjoyed the Marvel movies early on but have definitely had Marvel fatigue for a long time now.

The DC universe I'm just lost whats supposed to be happening, think we are on another reset now.

Did watch another which was a little odd called The Ballad of Wallis Island about a bit of an eccentric lottery winner (The brilliant Tim Key) who hires a famous folk band to do a gig for him only.

    Really enjoyed that one.

    Dangerous Animals

Unusual Shark/Psycho movie with Jai Courtney, really enjoyed it, had a few cringe/can't look moments

The New Naked Gun movie with Liam Neeson.

It was ok, some funny moments but not a patch on the originals

Old film I've never come across before.

    Locke with Tom Hardy

Really enjoyed this, just a guy driving making phone calls but really engaging

Not exactly ‘movies’ but, after four weeks of virtually no TV I’ve come back to ‘Blue Lights’ and ‘The Celebrity Traitors’. Both, imo, great adverts for the licence fee and brilliant television. Okay, Claudia’s latest offering doesn’t really fit the thread, but ‘Blue Lights’ is six hours of quality drama on a par with many movies. A highly recommended binge watch but probably watch S1&2 first.

I've heard good things about blue lights. On my list.

Watched Buried this morning from 2010 with Ryan Reynolds. Fantastic movie.

Really need to start with S1 if it’s all new to you, but S3 is impressively good. About 18 hours in all.

Quite possibly. Yes it was. Very unlike Ryan Reynolds
