It is a joke. Three was plenty (with an additional ‘bonus’ one for head/concussion injuries) but the five was only brought in following Covid and even then was only for potentially covering lots of games crammed in to a curtailed period. Was never really meant to be permanent. Blatantly assists ‘bigger’ teams with larger financial resources who can afford to have ?10m players kicking around on the bench to bring on later on against tiring less resourced ‘smaller’ teams.

See,this is what I hate about so called top managers.
