    Sheffield Wednesday fans.

I have just been reading on twitter about a Wednesday fan who is boycotting them until Dejphon Chansiri leaves.
He came to NYS on Saturday for his football fix.

Would you welcome a couple of thousand more of them to do this?
Whatever you think of them, they know how to get an atmosphere going and their money is just as green as anyone else?s.
When they return to Hillsborough they could leave us a few quid better off and a change of apathy of atmosphere from the stands.

I?m struggling to see why not. The more the merrier.

I heard that too. The fan in question said he only attended because his relative was an Orient fan so couldn't see many if any other Weds fans attending.

I suppose I'd welcome them, like you say their money is as good as ours.

A lot of S/T holders have actually boycotted the game at home tonight against Boro. Can't see how that hurts Chansiri as he already has their money for tonights game?

No but it hurts the team playing in front of no fans.Sorry but I have no sympathy for Wendies.

No problem with who watches the millers . When I was a lot younger and Rotherham were playing away I’d go to either Barnsley Wednesday Sheffield utd with my mates. We’ve been there where Wednesday are now so I feel for the genuine football fan .

Never got the dislike/hatred of Wednesday, just another local team,of which some fans think they are better than they actually are.
If I were one of their fans, the only thing you can do is protest, and not going to games, especially if hardly any goes,is the ultimate protest, well done to them.

Their team may well be playing at NYS shortly, the expectation is that they will be in admin shortly, Chancer owns the ground and wants fortunes for it, expect the administrator/new owners will need to find somewhere to play.

What a load of B@ll@cks Chansiri doesn’t give a feck about the fans the only people they are hurting by staying away are the players, the players are giving their all in difficult circumstances & the the supporters should appreciate that & go & support them.

They will more than likely be playing at NYS next season but I think that will be because of relegation, don’t think our ground will be big enough for any potential new owners if they are looking away from Hillsboro’s.
