On the official website there's an article celebrating the fact that yesterday would have been Arthur Wharton's 160th birthday. However, the closing statement made me smile:-

"We at the Club and Community Trust remain dedicated to preserving Arthur's legacy trough education, community and sports."

How ironic to have a typo in a sentence mentioning education Poddington will be apoplectic.

What would you list amongst the top 10 achievements by our club, not necessarily on the field ones (as we don't have many). The Arthur Wharton story has to be one of the biggest associated with football in the town.

I think being recognised as ?too good for league one? by other fans and the media during the recent yo yo years must rank pretty high
