    Willie Young RIP

Just seen the sad news that former player Willie Young has passed away.
Just saw a team photo of him yesterday towering over Bobby Clark who was standing next to him.
    Thoughts for his family
    RIP Willie

Before my time, but certainly have heard of him.

His leaving the Dons un the manner that he did is fairly well known.

Played for both Spurs and Arsenal.

Not many players can claim that.

    RIP

Wasnae at the game against the PJMs when he threw a strop but seen him play plenty.
I remember him scoring two goals in a league cup sections game against Queens Park (odd the things stick in your mind) about 73 ish.
Here's a thought, Arsenal's first pick centre back for, what, three/four seasons?
    Never sniffed a Scotland cap.
    Grant Hanley has 62.

    RIP fella.

    RIP fella.
Part of the Copenhagen 5 banned from playing for Scotland.
Should be the Copenhagen 3 as Joey and Bumper were exonerated of any wrong doing

    I'd actually forgotten about Copenhagen.
It was Bremner, Joey and three under 23s.
As you said, Bumper and Joey were subsequently capped again.
Willie had defied Jimmy Bonthrone (who was U23 manager) to go on the peeve.
I think the infamous PJMs game was in fairly short order after that
