Yes genuine ones not fair weather ones.
I agree with most of your comments pocket but this is bowlax. Genuine fans don't need to travel home and away to have an opinion. I'm from what he had available last night hamshaw made 2 mistakes. 1 keeping Martha on all game when he's been poor for the last 2 he's played. And using sherif as a target man instead of hugill.

However I’m sorry but this negative pass back, long hopeless balls is not good to watch. A decent team last night beats us comfortably. When was the last time we played for 90 minutes.
We are hit and miss and if I’m honest I’m fatigued with the same excuses, injuries, new players, transition. I got soaked through on way there and back I think it’s easy to criticise the supporters who are turning up week in week out and that’s not a dig at anyone but it’s relevant. The club is drifting and it’s tedious.
I understand Pocket everything you say and I give credit to everyone that follow The Millers.

There were some good points made from posters I thought as I was reading through.

I can understand the long ball to clear the defence last night because we only had one fit central defender. The 2 other central defenders were playing out of their normal position.

I thought that some of the running by the midfielders was magnificent and they passed simply in the way they were facing to players showing themselves even when they were marked.

Dawson came in for criticism but I think it was unfair. He made a brilliant save with his feet from a deflected shot. I thought that he was fouled for their first goal. The second goal was a comical goal from a rare slip but stil Dawson couldn’t do anything with the shot at goal.

Each and every player made mistakes last night on both teams.

I don’t know if it’s been said that the ref did not award us a free kick until half way through the second half.

We didn’t start the second half well and it got worserer with us conceding the second.

We would have folded at that point but we didn’t we battled on and got the deflected goal. After that we continued to push and got our just desserts!

I was a great point under the circumstances and the undefeated run continues!

I enjoyed the match, indoors and dry with a JD sat at the side of me. Our experiences were different but the result remains 🤗

You have to take into account our injury list and Burtons form going into the game notwithstanding their huge cup win at the weekend, albeit against non league opposition.

They have now gone 5 away games unbeaten
    Drew 1-1 at Donny
    Won 1-0 at AFC Wimbledon
    Won 1-0 at Cardiff
    Drew 0-0 at Huddersfield

They have only lost 2 away games this season and they were the first 2, at Barnsley and Stockport, both by the odd goal on 9th and 23rd August respectively.
They have been very good away, only conceded 1 goal in their last 4 away games as shown above.

They have a really good manager and are a very dangerous team. So to come back from 2-0 down with no recognised central defence against a defensively sound team, I reckon is a good result.

I wasn?t disappointed at the loss in the Cup as the league is far more important for us. A month ago we were wondering where our next win was coming from and now we are up to 12th. Yes I know it is very tight but in the light of adversity through injuries I think the results have been commendable, but tonight Burton certainly deserved to get something out of the game and we take the point and move on.
Pretty much agree with this. When I saw the team with no recognised centre defenders, 2 of them not at full fitness and wing backs wiither the same or out of position, I didn't hold out much hope for more than a point. It seemed to be going that way, so quite pleased that we showed balls enoughg to come back, and the last minute goal will be a confidence boost for Hamish who looks a big positive for the future.

I had a go at Dawson in the match thread, and he has to anticipae what the opposition are doing to him and be stronger in getting around their blocker to take command. But otherwise, he continued his recent good form with some good saves. I thing the crits for him are unfair.

I agree with frog, I quite enjoyed many passages of play - I like watching Spence and Gore battle away in midfield and play some slick passing movements iinterplaying with others. But disappointing up top, with Martha frustrating compared to what we know he can do, Hall out of sorts and Nombe a bit stranded. I think we have to ignore Sherif's size - he isn't a target man but quite similar to Nombe and not sure they can blend in anything other than their speed and troublesomeness in pressing the defenders. I think Sherif, like Nombe will only score if we get wide men down the wings behind the full backs and square across.

Some still comparing MH with SE - in my opinion, at least I can see attempts to play football through the midfield here. We can't only blame injuries, but missing both Jules and the Sheff U fella is huge when teams are playing on our weaknesses - as I said at half time, they knew our vulnerability, they know very well how to stay solid and just wait for their aerial opportunities which eventually came. Any good team uilds on a solid defence and we are makeshift.

Hamshaw he's starting to get on my wires! Saying after last night fans should make more noise. What fans he's lost half of them since the start of the season! Him & Scott should never be let anywhere near another transfer window then he loans out some of our younger players we could do with now.

Not a great game but we showed spirit to come back how we did. Don’t get booing your own team. Obviously the boo boys want the team to play well but if they don’t then they think it’s a good idea to boo , brain dead springs to mind .

I wasn?t suggests only genuine fans travel home and away. If that?s how it came across I apologise.

My point is that it?s easy to criticise supporters who have paid money turned up pissing wet through when you are sat at home.
They are no less of a supporter but just bear in mind the context of someone who is giving an opinion after a poor game it?s a different emotion and experience.

I?ve been criticised for being a happy clapper at times but at the moment I?m getting tired of the same excuses from the club.
Everyone has a different opinion which is valid just appreciate the different perspectives of why people are seeing it differently.

But very fortunate to how it came about with the slip from spence , that's 5 games unbeaten now in the league , so the boys arnt doing too bad , bad decision from Dawson for first goal , but he pulled a great save off in, 1st half with his feet .Douglas was brilliant. Won all his headers and played simple passes , well done raffertey for helping him. Injuries again to weeken the team. So in my opinion the boys against men did well .. Burton are no mugs
Come on Don! Surely you can conjure up some negativity?

I enjoyed the game. Two committed teams, both with some strengths and weaknesses.

On balance I thought Dawson had a good game. I think he had to commit to the punch because of the quality of the corner; maybe he could/should have done better, but you could say the same about the defenders who didn't make the challenges.

It's not perfect; it's not consistently good, but it's better than last year.

    HAMSHAW OUT!! (I almost forgot!)

Glad someone else has sense to agree with me. Nombe after 2 months out should not be run like that. Poor manager. That is how he tore a hamstring in the first place when hugebill did sod all.
Nombe will suffer again, due to the rest of the team.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I am staggered. I was often accused last year of being blind to SE failings, well you have taken it to a new level with this. Our approach was disorganised, disjointed and negative. The midfield was passive. The tactics were beyond basic. The only light from the evening was the young centre half who gave a very competent display. The only reason we got back into the game was because Burton collapsed.

    I fear Saturday.

MH clearly has injury problems in both defence and attack based on the team and formation he put out last night, and whilst at times we seemed to be chasing shadows, there is a never say die attitude among the players that certainly wasn't there at the end of September. Burton are a decent team, and they themselves would have gone 12th in the table had they won last night. Zac Jules was a big miss last night but young Douglas did himself proud with a great performance and a first, senior goal, and whilst we weren't brilliant last night, neither did I think we were awful.
Anyway another point on the board, and Lincoln here on Saturday who sit 5th in the table, their away record is Won 3 Drawn 2 Lost 2 scoring 6 and conceding 4 so a close tight game I'm expecting, and let's hope one or 2 more players are available for Saturday. UTM
I agree, playing in front of him he has a badly organised, badly coached set of poor defenders
