Regarding DSA leaving Dee4life.
I heard that the DSA committee members at that time were hopeless at providing receipts for expenditure incurred by the DSA. I also heard it suited John Nelms that the DSA left Dee4life as Nelms likes to operate a ?divide and rule? policy.
You should ask Kenny Ross why the DSA left Dee4life as he was the Chairman of the DSA at that time.
You might remember at the Dee4life AGM in November 2023 that John Nelms got a member of the DSA committee who was also a member of Dee4life to act as Nelms?s message boy and inform the Dee4life members that they were no longer welcome in Gardyne.
This is despite a number of members of DSA affiliated supporters clubs also being Dee4life members.
The person who acted as Nelms?s message boy is no longer a member of Dee4life having resigned his membership after a Dee4life members online meeting in March 2024 where he was told a few home truths about the problems the Dee4life board of directors have had trying to have a meaningful conversation with John Nelms.
Last week it was reported in the Courier that Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited had signed up new consultants to deal with their new stadium development at Campy Campy Nou.
What has happened to the previous firm of transport consultants who were signed up by Nelms about two years ago.
Have they told Nelms what has to be done to get approval from Transport Scotland but Nelms on behalf of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited is not prepared to spend the money, so nothing gets done.
In my opinion it is high time that the DSA committee members ask Nelms what is happening with his new stadium development at Campy Nou and when his PPIP application is going to be submitted for discussion by the Dundee City Council planning committee members.
It does seem as though there is something fundamental that has not yet been resolved. Imagine if there was no carparking in the project. Would that be a help? I think the Eden Project is being designed along these principles, and yet there a green corridor approach being pushed for Dock Streer, one of the material routes for buses and cars. It seems odd that there are no clear drawings that show what the club has to do to get planning permission that is acceptable to TS.
