Good point, it took longer to get out of Edinburgh last week than it took to get from bridge to Dundee, Parkhead has to be the worst with Ibrox a close second

It seems odd that there are no clear drawings that show what the club has to do to get planning permission that is acceptable to TS.
There is one major difference between the Eden Project on Dock Street and the new stadium on the A90 Kingsway.
The A90 Kingsway is a trunk road which comes under the control of Transport Scotland.
Meanwhile Dock Street is not a trunk road and it comes under the control of Dundee City Council.
This is why the Dundee City Councillors gave planning permission for the Eden Project just as the useless and incompetent Dundee City Councillors gave M & S planning permission to move to the Gallagher Retail Park despite the traffic congestion on Dock Street.
If Tim Keyes had purchased the site of the old gas works on Dock Street for his new football stadium it would have received planning permission ages ago as the Dundee City Councillors are not interested in traffic congestion on Dock Street.

I've driven along Dock Street many, many times and have never encountered significant traffic congestion.

I think that's because Dock Street is actually 4 lane road. Think the plans for Eden Project will change that, template being the Arbroath disaster.

Recently I have driven on several occasions on Dock Street to take my wife to M & S in the Gallagher Retail Park and it was gridlock leading up to the traffic lights at the entrance to the Gallagher Retail Park thanks to the dozy and incompetent Dundee City Councillors.

I've driven in major cities all over Europe - Milan, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Athens etc. Take it from me there is no major congestion, and definitely no gridlock, on Dock Street.
