A good point. One I was prepared to take before kick off and especially given our awful record at that ground.
Feeling slightly disappointed in the end.
This is a strange league this year. Lincoln are top and they were poor at NYS and there are only 6 points separating the top 12.
Promotion is anyone's with a bit of consistency.

Hamshaw he's got his favourites. Now T Holmes is back see side he selects. Powell shouldn't be playing left wing back. James better there. If Hugill is fit have to lone forward till January.

Regarding McGuckin, MH clearly doesn't rate the lad. By not recalling him when we barely have a fit striker tells you everything you need to know.

That being said, it was strange he wasn't in Eastleigh's squad yesterday. He's either injured again (and he literally just came back from injury last week) or they got instructions from us not to use him.

For the record, most managers have their "favourites ",these usually turn out to be the best players, strange that.
Ever thought he might know more than you ?

When we have the option Powell his best position is left side of midfield he's not a wing back.

Powell best position is not left side of midfield. His best position is when he's allowed to roam and control the play. Sadly we don't have anyone fit ATM to play lwb LW ect so he has to fill in. Which TBF him and James make a very good partnership. Moving James into lwb then pushes Powell inside which means Spence or gore would loose out. Not sure why you always look to changing a system, even a winning one or call for players who don't play to be inc.. oh yeah. I do know 😉. Keep up the good work my multi mate

Two superb goals lit up a gritty match. We played much the better football. Shame about the late equaliser even though it was well a fair result.
How did their number 30 stop on the pitch. Early booking, warning with his captain called up, then another warning?
RU66 obviously watched another games highlights.
Loved the fireworks display as we left the stadium.

A decent summary that. MH has got this group of players, playing for each other now and believing in themselves, so much different than at the start of the season. I suppose, that is just about time together as a unit, and those that said that on here deserve the pat on the back. Powell is a great example of that togetherness, I am sure he would prefer not to be left wing back, but his commitment and desire to do well for the team is superb. We do have the core of something good here, I hope the people at the top commit to this team the way the fans and players are.

Brief highlights I watched only showed our goal. Rest was them.
