Yes, he was at fault for their second goal but I am not so sure about the first. He has made the odd blunder this season but, all in all, I would stick with him as I do believe that he has the potential to be a more than useful goalkeeper.

Yes, he was at fault for the one goal especially but I'm in agreement with most on here. He may not be another Palmer but he is still relatively young and apart from a few odd clangers has generally put in some decent performances including more than a couple of important saves. With a more solid back four in front of him now his confidence has grown from those early games and I believe that he will continue to improve. My main concern tbh is not having a better back up GK if he gets injured!

Did not blame him for the first goal. The second yeah, he should have done better.

If you look at the goals Englands no1 Jordan Pickford had put past him yesterday v Newcastle, well one was very similar to Swansea’s first and the others, well let’s just say Pickford had a bad day, all goalkeepers do. Griffiths is a very good goalkeeper and I am thankful we have him at our club.

Griffiths needs support, like all goalkeepers he needs that to keep their confidence going.

As often quoted, a goalkeeper is the loneliest place on the pitch.

Taken from the internet are these quotes.

Several notable goalkeepers have expressed similar ideas:

Robert Sanchez, a professional goalkeeper, described it as "a position of loneliness" that "no one understands" except other goalkeepers and coaches.

Kasper Schmeichel noted it is a lonely position with no room for mistakes.

Mary Earps, the England goalkeeper, has also reflected on the emotional demands, stating the hardest part is being unable to influence the game and having to wait for the action to come to you.

The legendary goalkeeper Bob Wilson refers to it as the "loneliest role in soccer"

in a New York Times video piece about the position.
Former USA goalkeeper Brad Friedel described the feeling of being "part of a team yet somehow separate".

A kid on a park pitch would probably have saved those two goals today. For me - we need another keeper in the January window and keep Griffiths for back up,
First goal was Phillips fault. He charged forward and gave us 3 Baggies contesting with 1 of theirs. Headed straight to their player who simply played back into the player and place Phillips left. No way goalies fault.

I'd like to hear the keepers opinion on what happened with the 2nd goal.

    Shocking.
I can't believe the last defender simply left the goalmouth open and followed the attacker back up the park.
    Though really I dont care.
