Whoever says we need coaches and three managers are joking imo as for the second goal there were 19 players all huddled together and its inevitable someone will score a goal and the GK is stuck on his line and is not contributing to the team at all.

We don't need coaches at over one million pounds a year but a manager who picks players who can play this game. And we had a defender who headed the ball a few yards and so clearly cannot play this game and allowed their player to cross the ball and half a dozen players went into a scrum. All players push each other the whole time and the ref gives a pen and robs 300 Crewe fans of a point. That is dreadful!

I will say again and again, get the players to spread themselves on the pitch and have no more than a handful of players back for corners and that will allow the GK to come of his line and catch the ball that is within a few yards of him.

I don't think coaches and managers have any idea of how to play football!

We could save a million quid for better players but we have people in charge who again have no idea of how the game should be played. A development club are we???????

Who's idea was it to appoint an under 18 coach as the chief coach? OK its Christmas and anything goes, right? So what is the Assistant Manager for and Kenny Lunt and how much money are all these managers and coaches getting?

Once again LB has blamed the players fot the defeat and laid it on thick and hard, wow. Has it ever ocuured to him that it is his dreadgul standard of cooaching that is to blame.

Those post march comments re an ideal example of how to lose the dresseing room. Or the alternative, perfect comments uou would expect from a manager whose position is in doubt.

Those comments should never have seen the lighy of day. Every part should have been discussed in the dressing room..

Just look at the highlights that really show our players are hopeless in that we had a player who tries to shoot from a bad angle and we had a player free near the goal. Their first goal was caused by our player not heading the ball properly that went to their player. They claim to receive coaching and play the match over and over to the players and management and yet learn next to nothing! If I was Chairman. I would sack the whole lot as not being able to play even to fourth division standard. I haven't seen such errors on local amateur matches and yet we are spending over a million quid on people that don't even know what the basics of football are.

Time someone got a grip as this team is going no where on that performance! IMO at least!

I hesitate to inject a note of reality into this thread but the Head of Coaching position is an Academy one, that's why there was the idea of appointing one of the under 18 managment team to it. His job is to recruit coaches for the various age groups and oversee them getting their various badges, particularly ex-players where possible. Didn't kow that Billy Paynter (don't mention Vale!), who has managed in Wales and the North West Counties, and Regan Griffiths (part-time, still playing, as others like Lee Bell began) were among our newer age group coaches.

Is anyone else mystified by Lee Bell's substitutions? Golding is injured after 25 minutes so the obvious move is to move Billington to centre half and bring on Mingi at right back. Instead he brings on Louis Moult. Can anyone else explain the logic of this?

Crewborn I do not think anyone can explain the logic of that decision.

But why the decision was made is quite simple to explain . LB and RD have not got a clue how to tun or coach a league2 side.
