Thread: Salford post match reflections

Don't think anybody saw that coming, but to score 7 in a professional match is a rare and beautiful thing !
Well done to everyone concerned, especially Benson and the young lads.

Not often you see more on the pitch than in the stands.

All you can take from that is confidence for the youngsters. Proper dog and duck defending from both sides.

Another Wembley visit on the horizon? I would how many we would take this time? 7k max

Some encouraging performances from some of the young lads. No keeper should ever be beaten from the half-way line in any circumstances.
And GET 7 was the name Chaz Robinson gave to his program shop on the Millmoor frontage.

Should use those games to get players up to stepping up to starting in league games. Raggett isn't at centre back. Duncan more likely he could be but nowhere to be seen last night. Like I said Hamshaw he's trying to keep everyone happy you can't. T Holmes needs to up his fitness levels rest of the fringe players & younger players last night didn't stake a claim to starting against Blackpool next week.

I believe it's the lowest attendance Rotherham have ever played in front of (except for Covid, behind closed doors), although I dont know every attendance in the SHFACC. Well done to the 153 that went over to Salford
For anyone interested in high scoring games home and away.

We're due one. We've been in 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, if that pattern continues then it should be 2026.

    Better get saving now

I've been to them all so far but I must admit, I was on the fence about the last one v Sutton and this one (should it materialise) be a step too far. Playoff's without a doubt but the Pizza Trophy, I am not so sure.

More on the pitch than in the stands? Why not try going and help shout the lads on? I'm sure you'll want a Wembley ticket IF we get there
