Jammy barcodes,VAR and ref on your side ...It was a foul on our goalie, never a penalty and never a sending off. Pity we missed that last second header for a point. 😁

😁 sorry, Alf. Think we got off with it at the end.

Certainly a squeaky bum time the last few minutes. The way the cookie crumbles I guess. We'll see you at Turf Moor in a couple of weeks no doubt you'll be up for that one after the way your lads finished the game. It was a solid defensive performance with 10 men.

    it's 3 points.

The came was controlled for 80 minutes. First 10, Burnley had a good go at it without registering a shot on target. It did stretch the play and open things up. I was hoping for more on the counter from the lads.

Woltemade was isolated, didn't have a good game. Wissa's return is great timing as Woltemade needs a rest and will benefit from some rotation.

BDB did a decent job at LB. No one wants it but needs must right now.

Elanga looked more like the player at Forest. Brilliant movement for the red card, Looks like he and Gordon are striking up a good relationship. The through ball by Gordon was world class. We need more of that, pass and movement to split the lines.

I'm please to see the team win after such a lot of rotation. Willock did well without being brilliant, steady away.

Ramsey was good in spells. I got the feeling he's trying way to hard to impress. Just too tense and ridged. A lad who's spent his whole life at Villa (joined Villa at 8 yrs old) wants to make his mark. He snapped at shots and some of his control was rough due to tension. Some good passing and a bit unlucky to give away the Pen. Plenty of effort and determination. There's a player in there and I'm looking forward to seeing the best of him.

Gordon has clearly had a one-to-one with Howe and he appears to be on the road back to his best. Sharper and more focused. Good Penalty.

Schar was disappointing TBH. Didn't need to do much and was sloppy at the end giving away a free kick which almost resulted in an equaliser. If he wants to play more he needs to be far better than that when he is on the pitch or he will be replaced by Thiaw and Botman or Burn.

Can do better but 3 points and another win at home.

Up the Premier League we go!

2 daft pens, neither of them were more than technical pens and unconscious actions by players.

Definitely a red, go for the ball as last man and touch him at all (made contact with his knee) and you’re off… always been that way and he was just a bit daft/desperate.

Good start by your lot, but no real end product on the pitch for you to do anything with it… that’s probably where you need to invest in Jan if funds available… but got enough about you to scrape over the line if you can start scoring goals I’d think.
