Same team who have been playing ok for the past 9 games but failed to turn up.
Not sure we have time tonight to list the problem

We were very slow out of the blocks and fair play to Blackpool they did a good job in exploiting our lack of a left wing back and make do and mend defence. Also, our make do and mend forwards were lacking as we created some great changes but they were much more clinical.

Not allowed to critisise the manager Yak? I think plenty have done that but there were still some great interplays today, some leading to great chances, that just didn't pay off. I think a9 match untreated run without centre halfs and one centre forward earns Matt some space when you can see some great play in between at times. The proverbial work in progress. I expect it will be set back further if Gore leaves in January but I think the pattetns we can see, and some very good moves from a patched up team with yet 2 more injuries suggests we have a good manager working on a style but needs probable another couple of transfer windows to get the right, less fragile, players into his system.

Best team won the reason I say that is because they wanted it more.hes got to find somebody to do Powells job because he’s not good enough.Teams are now targeting our left side.

Keep saying that Powell isn't a wing back. James got injured in a position he shouldn't be placed in. He should be out wide not challenging in the air more central. Not much else to say about our performance we looked liked we wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now!

Mistake Hamshaw made tonight like I said before the game started was not starting with Baptist who looked fit enough in the back 3 & James at left wing back.

He isn’t a left wing back he went in the middle and we were a different team, your constant attacking of one of our better players is very sad, there were a lot of other players on that pitch today that were a complete disgrace Joe Powell is not our problem.

Better players but not in that position, hes too slow once again he did not close down. It?s probably Matts fault but Powell has got to do better.

Yes you keep saying it, over and over and over again. Surely you can grasp that Powell has played there out of necessity and overall has done an ok job.

Just because their first goal game down our left doesn't have any bearing on whether Powell can play LWB. It was a simple case of him not intercepting a ball and then a shot that went through the the keeper's legs. But because Powell was involved, we're blaming it on him not being a wing back.

There was no reason for Hamshaw to change the team tonight and I would have picked the exact starting 11.

I predicted this and it isn’t magic it has been coming, yes the unbeaten run has had some good performances and results but in at least 4 of those games we have not played for a full 90 minutes. We started awfully against Wycombe and could have been three down at half-time we come out and play well for 45 mins and people forget the awful first half.

We start awfully at Salford and before we score they could have had three or four and we have to come from behind again just like Oldham and Man City. MH struggles to get a 90 minute performance from the team, that is an issue and tonight we suffered because of that where in other games we got away with it, let us not forget Bradford at home as well.

Second point, is teams have sussed us out in that we play 3 at the back with wing backs that are not proper wing backs, so we are narrow and leave holes behind them, Wycombe did it and all Blackpool did was rinse and repeat, don’t our lot watch their own match videos?

I think Hugill deserves praise for playing when injured but that performance tonight wasn’t fit for a player that is supposed to be on ?10k a week, absolute garbage. He never runs into space, he goes near to their CB so he is never an option for our midfield. Holmes’s was shocking at Salford and I hope his poor performance again today is down to lack of match fitness, he nearly got caught with the ball twice before his nd Dawson huge amateur show for their third.

Gore is a quality players, Hall and Martha turn up when they want and spence had his worst game for us. No surprise Benson is injured again he will always be play four out for six type of player. I think we will do well to get any result at Plymouth a hard place to go even when they aren’t playing well, and Huddersfield will be a difficult game.

A poor run of results wouldn’t surprise me over the festive period, I still think we will lose at least 4 players in January and being MH says he only wants 3 and they will have to be loans it seems TS has no intention of backing his manager and if we have a poor window this team will struggle to finish in the top half.

You never know all the sick notes might last more than a few games and TS might come up with the goods. For those that attack Powell, his availability, running, passing and contribution statistics are first rate, if some of our other players put as much effort into playing for the shirt as he does we would be in a better place.

Bang on RU66 absolutely bang on. Exactly what I said to my lad. That has got to be the last experiment our Matt tries...Powell at wingback is so bad it's laughable. That said they played really well probably the best team to come to us this season in my opinion. Nothing fell for us at all so we move on to Plymouth and get 3 points there no worries. Bad day at the office but I bet the claws are out on Twitter. I'm not looking until tomorrow! UTM
