The police and associated law enforcement organisations the world over are supposed to uphold enforce the law, whilst upholding the principles of decency and legitimacy that centuries of such enforcement have established as the societal norm.

They DO NOT have the same standards of behaviour as those they police. They have, by definition, to be held to a higher standard.

Multiple examples of the behaviour of ICE operatives, captured by individuals with no connection or allegiance to "subversive" elements, have shown without a shadow of a doubt that they operate at the lowest of the low (and lower than that of the poor souls they pursue and persecute).
