Does the American DOJ think ??.

that the rest of the worlds public are fools? They must do if they think that we can believe a single word that they have come out with regarding the Epstein files. To say that they have redacted information to save the victims is laughable. It is to save the reputations of the plethora of high profile figures involved, that is the truth! This includes Trump, who is up to his eyeballs in both what went on and the complete and utter cover up. America, wake up and smell the coffee!

You might be right Leicester but to be honest - I am not interested in the Epstein files and the victims are not even from the UK. We should be more concerned about a further 919 illegals arriving on Friday - all young single men and no women or kids to be seen. More money down the drain for hard working tax payers and no doubt further disgusting attacks on defenceless females. Where is this all going to end? At least Trump for all his faults has completely stopped illegals and deporting numerous. The popularity of Trump in the US is around 42% in support which is down but Starmers popularity is around 17 to 20%. What does that tell us.

You would have to question why the at least 16 files disappear from DOJ site for Epstein documents, including the Trump photo above. He has nothing to hide!

Look where his right hand is. It does not make him guilty of anything, but he was socially involved and let’s face it, he does come across a misogynistic type.

803 illegals ( single men ) arriving on Saturday in 13 boats. Who cares about the Epstein files or even Ukraine until we have someone with backbone to stop this within our country! So who cares if other leaders run through their streets naked!

Do not disagree with you at all regarding immigration in this country. However, this disgusting behaviour is focussed on America, yet, and in no way am I defending Andrew, he appears to be the fall guy in all this. No other high profile figure has been accused to the same degree or punished in any way. All the other high profile figures just happened to be there and were in no way involved. If anybody believes that then they believe in the tooth fairy!

On a completely different topic, when is the punctuation on this site going to be sorted out? It makes posting extremely difficult when you know certain errors are going to arise.

Do not disagree with you at all regarding the problems of immigration in our own country. Yet, and in no way at all am I defending Andrew, he appears to be the only one directly accused of any wrong . All the other high profile figures just happened to be there and in no way involved in any wrong doing. With Trumps past reputation with women and many of the others present, if anybody believes that then they believe in the tooth fairy! It is just one big cover up in my opinion and do think that this does concern us as the USA is supposedly our closest ally and this is how the judiciary is controlled by one man.

On a completely different point, when is the punctuation on this site going to be sorted? It makes posting extremely difficult when you know errors are going to occur. Plus the fact that I repeated a post that I had already sent but did not appear until I resent the post.

There can be other issues in the world other than illegal migrants Al.

Back to the real topic. It’s corruption in plain sight. They might as well have Jimmy Saville in charge.

It is quite strange how some view things and bang on about how horrible the Russian war with Ukraine was, the unnecessary loss of life, the rape of innocent women and children and how Trump is a hero, but now is not worth caring about because ot is not in our country so does not concern us.

The world is in a mess because of vile people, people who put themselves first and I, like most, do care about those that are caught up in the moronic bullies of this world.

If I had the answer to our immigration problem I would stand in an election in my area and actually do something. I do not so I will watch and wait and see who does have the answer.

I agree Matt but more bothered about everything wrong within our own borders than overseas. Ask most people who are worried about the cost of living what they would choose - billions spent within our own country to improve the cost of living, deporting illegals, making the country great again or wasting billions funding overseas financial aid and Ukraine?

Most USA tax payers do not want to fund billions in Ukraine or for illegals when already they know their financial aid is already too high along with Poland compared to other allies. Not forgetting some allies like Hungary and Slovakia who don’t contribute a dime.

So just my view - I couldn’t care less if Trump or other overseas high profile names ride on a horse naked within Central Park. We should be more bothered about high profile Brits who have been naughty boys like Andrew and Huw Edward’s and those who defraud our hard working tax payers like Rayner!

As for Ukraine many are getting bored with the billions wasted on a war that can not be won when there’s huge corruption within and allies can not even agree on frozen assets. Then Starmer the joke of a man tells Roman to cough up the billions. Why should he?

Most are more bothered about food on tables, waiting lists for urgent cancer ops etc then an overseas leader swinging from the chandeliers 😂

Trump has quite deliberately worked hard at replacing those in positions of authority across a plethora of federal, military and judiciary bodies with sycophants favourable to himself. The initial batch of files released named him numerous times which made his own MAGA supporters itchy. There was then a further delay before these were released and, surprise, surprise, Clinton and a few celebs appear but now no Donald! No one is fooled but based on his recent speeches, interviews and mid-night Social Truth ramblings, Trump seems to be increasingly unravelling. Hopefully, more Americans will wake up and they-and the world-will be rid of this grifting narcissist.

Why does it matter to us? It is true that we have our own inept Prime Minister and no obvious viable alternative and enough of our own problems to deal with but the choices of any POTUS have huge potential consequences for the UK in terms of trade, economic prosperity and security.

Moreover, I would argue that much of what has happened in the US mirrors much of what is happening here. Both nations have seen a growing gap in the distribution of wealth, an increase in inequality, issues over affordable housing, over education, social services and health care and a consequent rise in populism and a focus on immigration, particularly illegal immigration. Both countries also have on-going arguments over the merits and problems of "small government"/ neo-Liberalism with its calls for further privatisation and deregulation and "big government" with its calls for greater state ownership and social welfare.

The make up of the US is indeed far more varied than the UK and home to a far greater array of extremist views but I would argue that all the above similarities and America's response to them means that there are lessons that we can learn. These may well include the need to get far tougher on illegal immigration but might also be that electing someone like Farage will not solve any of our economic woes or make most people in the UK any better off or the realisation that the privatisation of public services or utilities is certainly no guarantee of improved performance.
