Wink Glad to see the back of 2025?

Hope you all have has a great festive period. I for one will be glad to see the back of 2025 and i'm sure you all will too. However, what awaits in the New Year? I expect a sensationalised news story coming our way for the New Year. Last year was Elon and his interference in our politics, what will it be this time? Another extremist attack (psy op or not) to get us fighting each other again and make us more divided and polarised? You've been warned.

That said - I genuinely hope you all fellow baggies well and hope we get a new manager in soon.

Over to you BaggieAl. Hope you've had good xmas and enjoyed your Malbec.

Thanks Regis and hope you and your family have had a great one too. I have enjoyed a number of bottles of Malbec and hope 2026 is better health wise.

Can't see 2026 being much different tbh Regis-whether with the geo-political situation globally, the economic one here in the UK or the fortunes of the Albion.

It would be nice to think that the war in Ukraine and various conflicts and genocides in Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere ended, that the rise in populism and divisiveness was halted, that Trump, Putin and others fell from power, that the UK found a strong leader and party we could mostly unite behind and that the Albion could miraculously enjoy a turn around in form and start playing entertaining football and winning games. None are sadly very likely.

Still, hope you and yours had a good Christmas Regis and all the best for the New Year!

If the first death in 2026 was that of Vladimir Putin, then that would be a wonderful start to the New Year. That piece of filth has ruined so many people’s lives, he must be the cancer of humanity. I am minded of the old Bob Dylan song, Masters Of War, written in the 60’s but so apt for Putin; can he really be human?

Could not agree more. If Trump would follow suit (excuse the pun) then that would be good too.

Problem is, in both cases there are men just as evil and stupid to follow them.

I would not wish death on anyone except capital punishment for extreme cases. To wish death on Trump is extremely vile and sick when our own leader is letting the country go down the pan. Then again whilst I dislike Starmer, I would certainly wish him no harm just because his views and beliefs do not match my own.

I have no problem wishing DEATH for that cnut and if it turned out to be slow and painful for him, I couldn't care less.
Some people can have a court of law but not him. Wouldn't waste money on a trial for him. Hopefully he will go the same way as Nicolae Ceaușescu, only one difference. Not by firing squad but a hanging for the criminal that he is.
