I am not an expert but it seems to me something needs to change pretty sharpish or we will be in league 2 obviously, I don’t think our problems will end there as we have played league 2 opposition a few times this season already and struggled eg Swindon. For what it’s worth I think Derby miller most of what he says makes sense, if TS is selling up and we don’t know IF he is surely it’s better to sell a league 1 club than a league 2 one value etc

It’s pretty obvious that the club is poorly run from top to bottom changing the manager doesn’t seem to change anything (I am not saying either way if MH should be sacked), it’s the timing for me, January transfer window coming up but I honestly cannot see how 3or 4 new players will change anything, we need a coherent plan from the board what is the plan?

Where are we going I know I am stating the bleeding obvious but I simply cannot see anything changing other than possibly the manager and nothing will change the people at the top have their heads in the sand and presumably want to preserve the status quo, when gates are down to 3,000 maybe the penny will drop but WHEN is enough enough? Bigger clubs than us have dropped into non league and it’s a long road back

Gore is decent at what he does. But pointless him being there without someone to give it to and use it.
He?s tenacious and wins it but he?s winning it and giving it to teammates with no idea or confidence to do anything with it.

I reckon I could beat Yearwood in a sprint and I?m a fat 52 year old, Kelly is older than Brin and while Powell puts a shift in his quality seems to have deserted him.

....thanks for that buddy. I'm soon approaching my pensionable age but at the rate of knots Kelly puts himself about, he makes me look like a whipper snapper.

I look at the results and take out the person. He’s failing yes there are deeper issues in the club but both can be right at the same time.
You didn’t seem to mind Taylor or Evans getting criticised or sacked. But it’s Hamshaw so different rules apply. Frog was more upset at people criticising the manager on the match thread last night than how bad we were.
This is not a bottom 4 squad that’s not down to TS.
I don’t have the answers but if you think leaving a coach in charge that is out of his depth then you are more deluded than TS.
Like I said last night hypocrisy at its finest.
TS is an issue I agree but the coach is a bigger one right now.
Even if you all want to believe different.
I don't know if you're deliberately being obtuse to suit your agenda so I'll try again.
I have absolutely no issue with any manager getting the sack and Hamshaw must be very close because it's a results business to use that well-worn clich?.
Also some of his recent decisions have been bizarre, the natives are restless so maybe it's time for him to go. Interestingly, people weren't calling for his head in the 9 game unbeaten run. Hypocrites maybe?
TS has an awful record of managerial appointments despite always having "a lot of high quality applicants" according to his usual mantra.
So here we go again, sack the manager, let TS get somebody else in and apparently everything will be fine.
Like I said, good luck with that.

Don’t have any agenda that’s my point. I’ll call it as I see it. If we play well and win next game I’ll say so.
The feedback you have just given about the manager why haven’t you criticised him like that before?
That’s my point it’s just fair feedback doesn’t matter who the manager is.
I wanted Hamshaw to do well but he’ hasn’t I’m just calling what I see.
In answer to why people didn’t call for his head in the 9 game unbeaten run. Same as nobody called for Taylor’s head when he kept us up or when we won at Brammal Lane etc. it’s no different to then unless of course you have an agenda to quote another poster.

I'm loving the way that fans think criticising a manager or player for doing a job wether it be good or bad is helpful...
It's as though nobody can have a conversation or debate without it becoming aggressive or abusive. Tbh I'm surprised at a few on here.

Despite the problems we have on the pitch, I'm still not fully in the sack the manager camp.

I said last week that, in my view, performances have been generally poor all season and pretty much every statistic bears that out (I might post some of these). I also think we're very lucky to be on the points we are, so that's on the manager and his coaching team.

But is no one else drained with the idea of sacking manager after manager? I am. But don't mistake that as apathy, it's about taking a view that things are taking longer to develop and that mitigating circumstances have hindered the manager. Yes he's made some bad signings. Yes he's made some odd decisions. Yes he's stubborn and yes we're in the bottom 4. But it's fine margins. Does anyone think that we'd be on a 5 game losing streak with Nombe, Spence and Benson all fit?

The biggest thing for me is the philosophy that MH is trying to instill. We had an average age of around 35 last season, now it's around 25 (I know I'm exaggerating). But this is something that most people bought into at the beginning of the season, i.e buy young players and develop them etc. It's easier said than done of course and recruitment is a factor in it's success.

It won't be a popular view but what I'm saying is that we ride it out and at least see where we are come the end of January, when the transfer window closes.

How many points do you think we'll get from the next two matches at home? I'm going to be generous and say two. It's still relegation form but it might save his skin ....for the time being.
Change will come, it's just a question of when

From brief highlights last night not much went for us. Their 1st 2 goals keeper could have done better & Baptist sending off was harsh. Rafferty will have to take his place.

We sack Hamshaw & co then paying them off will limit the budget even more in the January window so taking that into account I'm saying stick. Need to act quick in the January window to get us out of the bottom 4 sooner the better.
