Not sure why, even after three weeks, this thread doesn’t justify a ‘sticky’ but heigh ho.

Anyway the permanent signing of Sanderson is, imo, very welcome and positive. The deal for Danish midfielder Oscar Fraulo is apparently a more or less done deal and seems to have cost a lot less than it would have done the last time we tried and there are also suggestions that we are linked with USA left back George Bello.

Rumours are surfacing that Corinthians - no less - are interested in taking Brereton Diaz. The temporary loan from Southampton hasn’t really worked out and he’s had some completely counter productive stick from sections of the crowd, although I thought he came on and contributed well yesterday.

P.S. Jake Rooney also been returned to us from Barnsley. Looked good before injury but I guess he’ll be loaned out an L1/L2 club for the rest of the season.

I think the business so far has been damned good, in terms of not p***ing about at least. Sanderson secured, he may or may not be prem or even top of champ quality but if he eventually sinks to squad level or we sell for a bit of profit, tick. Fraulo's signing (if he's any good) heads off at the pass any unsettling interest from elsewhere, Rooney back (if we asked for him back) should be good for him if he's loaned out to a team who'll actually play him, and good for us if we sell eventually and rake in a bit more cash. Can't see him being a starter, or even a squad member, at Derby the way we are moving and that's a shame.

He’s in the squad for the weekend with JE saying he hopes to give him ‘some minutes’ against Leeds.

Paul Warne said to be after taking Curtis Nelson to MKD. Arguably Warne’s best signing imo, but surely too good for L2, unless as a loan to regain fitness with an immediate recall clause if needed.

That will be because the Cup is run under FA rules so there is no EFL rules based 25 man squad limit
