    O/T RIP Terry Yorath/Martin Chivers

Two greats of the game most of us fondly remember from the 60s/70s lost in the last day.

    RIP

We that can remember, remember fondly. And to borrow a famous KK quote, with a twist, we would just love it, love it if you beat it. Good luck Kev.

    Bigger ,

Remember Keegan playin for S****horpe at milmoor early 70’s. He stood out hen at I think 17/18 ish he stood out and you could see he was a player and Shankly grabbed his n sharpish.

Also think Chivers scored against us in FA cup win at white hart lane early 70’s think spurs won 3-0 - 6000 millers there that day and walk-in back to Riley’s bus , had me scarf in me pocket and almost with me mate Phil S got walloped by millers fans on another bus till I took me scarf out - they were early “ Gleesons Gorillas “

Wish KK well and Chivers was a typical big bustling strong but fair centre forward so much missed 2 day

    RIP Mr C - I liked yer !!!!

Two men who made themselves household names throughout the land.

Admired and adored by their fans in their day, Yorath part of the Leeds 70's mentality no nonsense team and Chivers with his wavy hair always stood out for me on MOTD.

Rest in peace Gentlemen, you served your clubs well.

NB Always wishing KK well with his treatment.

It was 2-0 Stansmate. I too thought MC scored but it was actually Alan Gilzean and another Martin, Peters.

Think MC scored against us for Southampton in the mid-sixties.

Was there went on Riley's. Our fans stood on the side. Bobby Ham & Carl Gilbert up front for us.
